I have a 2019 16”MacBook Pro!when I’m using it can I leave it plugging in the regular charger that comes with it and use the hub as extra ports or should I charge my laptop through the hub?

Bruh all my ports are all filled up on my Lenovo legion y545, it has type c 3.1 so I was curious if I could just usa a type c hub and put all my cables through that to make it much quicker and easier. Whenever I wanna work downstairs or take my laptop somewhere else I need to plug everything out and I feel like it's damaging the ports in the long term and also it's very annoying. So do you think I could do that..like have HDMI, ethernet, and like 2 USB ports all through a dongle for a windows gaming laptop? I basically connect my wired keyboard, mouse, and also monitor to it so...that may put some stress on it so I'm very unsure what to do. I just want a clean setup and to make it easier for the go... A dongle is a great way to do. Try out this dongle and see if it works for you worst case you just send this hub back if it doesnt work well. The unique blend of ports and slots are really nice on this hub, I only wish it had 2 monitor support but oh well its still one of the best hubs I have seen.

Hi, usb 3.2 can support up to two 4k monitors so you should be good. Just make sure that you don't get a counterfeit cord or poorly made hubs, often times its too easy to lie about the specifications of these hubs and cords, this Andobil hub seems to work pretty good. If you choose a hub that has the latest thunderbolt standard that is actually much better then just usb c 3.2. Have you decided what you will do? Do you have any more questions? The thing is that my decision on which laptop to buy will depend on if it is USB hub compatible, my options right now are Acer Predator Helios 300 which is not Thunderbolt compatible, and Adata XPG Xenia 15 2070 which does support Thunderbolt. The acer one is cheaper which means I can redirect more funds towards better monitors, but I worry that the monitors will not perform well if the hub that feeds them is not thunderbolt based. But if at least 1 monitor will perform full capacity even if only plugged through USB 3.2 I will probably choose Acer as it also has a Mini displayport included so that may work well. I definitely will sub, thank you very much for going out of your way to reply :) very appreciated.

Well I am actually using this very hub to do my gaming tests and to play games and you know what it actually works very well, I plug in my hub into the macbook air and also plug in my ssd, and my mouse dongle so basically I got three things connected to this andobil hub which it isnt bad actually surprised how good it works. Have you tried other hubs before? Well I gotta say I'm surprised you use a hard drive? Consider getting an ssd, it really helps boost gaming and the overall speed of your machine.

I am planning on getting a usb type c hub. My razer keyboard and mouse won't work on a normal usb 3.0 hub. If I get any usb type c hub will they work properly on the usb type c hub? I am also planning on plugging a usb c webcam to these hubs
Some hubs need more power, its possible the hub is not giving proper power delivery. This hub shouldn't have any issues but if it does you can give it a power plug in its usb power pass through and it will most likely work. I doubt you will have issues.
2 weeks later can you update us on what happened? Did you end up fixing it or getting a different hub? some hubs fail to initialize check to see if it fails to detect hdmi with a different montior. The quality in usb hubs is all over the place, like I got a great hub but its wire is fragile and if you bump it, it can disconnect, finding a quality hub is hard work, every hub I have ever had the company basically disappears eventually. I have encountered some issues with the andobil but overall it does work. idk if you are still replying to comments, but my previous hub that i had could not produce enough power to my keyboard and mouse. I noticed that you had a lot of items plugged in and im not sure if this hub would solve my power delivery problem or its the port on my laptop that cant produce enough.

To answer your question yes this gets enough power. Give it a shot, can you link me your previous hub so I can take a look at it? Very good point regarding if its the hub or the port. Its hard to say but most likely its the hub, most hubs use very low quality components, they are trying to get away with basically stealing your money and having it work partialy, now with Andobil I didnt have any issues it actually works for gaming quite well. Give it a shot worse case scenario just return it. What laptop are you using we can look up the laptop specs on the port to see if the port was causing trouble, most likey the port is fine unless its a cheaper laptop, a laptop manufacturer has more to lose though then a hub company so its most likely your hub that was causing the issues. I have seen usb ports fail before but not a usb type c port those tend to work well.

Yeah zenbook is one of the first ultrabook I ever used loved that thing! Yeah its got good quality. Very odd to see individual switches very surprising! The only other thing I would recommend is a Hub with removable cords so if the cord gets damaged and we all know it will you can replace it that’s the one thing andobil I wish did here.
I have a question for anyone. Can you split USB 2 and use 2 wireless dongles at the same time? I have a USB 3 port that is on the exterior of my PC case that will not work with my Microsoft wireless keyboard/dongle. I bought another 20 pin with 2 USB ports but it will not work either, and is too short to get out of the case. (oops) I have one USB 2 exterior that does work but I cannot use the wireless mouse dongle then. This is all for my home theater set up with Benq gaming projector.

@@SERGE_Tech I have figured it out to get it to work to get by. I got side tracked a bit with helping install an inline HVAC duct fan for sons office/computer room overheating with multiple computers. The Amazon USB 3 20 pin that split into two, one side was bad. I also got the dongle higher to reach further over our theater seating, it seems to be working well enough so far. I was wanting to know if you can split USB 2 into two and transfer data not just charge devices and get the dongles to work better or just hard wire a mouse and keyboard for less lag with just one USB cable/port. I was going to run a 30' male to female cable to put in wall and drop down next to the Benq projector and maybe put a hub there.I have a boxed in floor support behind the theater seating I can drop down for hard wired mouse/keyboard. But it looks like this will work for now. will look for a decent 30' male to female eventually and order a usb splitter or hub and try it out.
Well id recommended not spending more then $120 USD. You want the highest quality hub and its pretty much hard to find a hub that wont crap out on you. This Andobil hub is pretty decent I do wish they designed a removable usb c cord because those integrated cords are usually the first thing to go. Try this hub out and if you decide on a different hub let us know why here on this comment I would be interested to know how your hub experience goes.
Yeah I am very surprised there are good perfect hubs out there yet. I guess I will have to make it my self since no one else wants to do it.. finding a perfect hub that supports usb 3.2 gen 2 and latest thunderbolt standard is very hard my guess is a hub like that would cost 200+ dollars and maybe would turn into a desktop docking station as opposed to a dongle based hub. So andobil is a very good value for its money I do wish they had a removable usb c cord thats gonna be the achilles heal for any hub this really sucks that there are no hubs with removable cords, essentially all hub product life is defined by how cheap this cord is and its a matter of time before the cord breaks be very gentle with it.

My friend. You seem to be more concerned with being young and hip and now and happening than giving a decent explanation of how this hub works. The camera is making dizzying jumps. The never-ending cutting and splicing give an impression that you couldn't make this video in one take. You talk so much. This 15-minute video could have been easily compressed into 3-4. By the way, nobody cares about what props up your laptop to get you a better line of sight. Do you actually use this method at home all the time? I got side tracked a bit with helping install an inline HVAC duct fan for sons office/computer room overheating with multiple computers. The Amazon USB 3 20 pin that split into two, one side was bad. I also got the dongle higher to reach further over our theater seating, it seems to be working well enough so far. I was wanting to know if you can split USB 2 into two and transfer data not just charge devices and get the dongles to work better or just hard wire a mouse and keyboard for less lag with just one USB cable/port. I was going to run a 30' male to female cable to put in wall and drop down next to the Benq projector and maybe put a hub there.I have a boxed in floor support behind the theater seating I can drop down for hard wired mouse/keyboard. But it looks like this will work for now. will look for a decent 30' male to female eventually and order a usb splitter or hub and try it out.

You can get a dongle for your hub lol it’s like having a hub for your hub. It’s actually what I did for a while.

Well id recommended not spending more then $120 USD. You want the highest quality hub and its pretty much hard to find a hub that wont crap out on you. This Andobil hub is pretty decent I do wish they designed a removable usb c cord because those integrated cords are usually the first thing to go. Try this hub out and if you decide on a different hub let us know why here on this comment I would be interested to know how your hub experience goes.

Yeah I am very surprised there are good perfect hubs out there yet. I guess I will have to make it my self since no one else wants to do it..
finding a perfect hub that supports usb 3.2 gen 2 and latest thunderbolt standard is very hard my guess is a hub like that would cost 200+ dollars and maybe would turn into a desktop docking station as opposed to a dongle based hub.
So andobil is a very good value for its money I do wish they had a removable usb c cord thats gonna be the achilles heal for any hub this really sucks that there are no hubs with removable cords, essentially all hub product life is defined by how cheap this cord is and its a matter of time before the cord breaks be very gentle with it.

I'm pretty sure it can, give it a shot and report back to let us know how well it works for you. This hub exceeded all my expectations, impossible to find hubs with this many useful ports.

@@SERGE_Tech Yes I am. My PC is inside under my desk. The USB port is on tap and no space, leaving no space to connect the cable because the drawer is right on top of it. I am thinking to get a hub for easy connection of my removable HD.

you can now upgrade to desktop haha your workstation is terrible it might cause trouble in the future i think and you'lI using your laptop while charging it might even burn .

My friend. You seem to be more concerned with being young and hip and now and happening than giving a decent explanation of how this hub works.
The camera is making dizzying jumps. The never-ending cutting and splicing give an impression that you couldn't make this video in one take. You talk so much. This 15-minute video could have been easily compressed into 3-4.
By the way, nobody cares about what props up your laptop to get you a better line of sight. Do you actually use this method at home all the time? Do you expect other people to appreciate your ingenuity?
