What a beautiful son you have! You are doing so well. Taking your treatments like a trooper! I am now going through all you have gone through. Your videos are so encouraging. I have told my oncologist about them and will tell every cancer patient I meet. Love you darling Dee.
That's brilliant news you feeling better hun. You are doing so well and should be so proud if yourself.. I'm 39 mother of 3 and diagnosed about 9,/10months ago now with endometrial cancer stage 3 and on 23 lymph nodes up to my para-aortic nodes. I had 3 rounds of chemo first then a pet scan which made it worse then had another 3 rounds of 2 different types of chemotherapys which didn't work other .has left me be long pretty rubbish and my immune system very low and have had quite afew infections resulting stays in hospital...I now have got a clot in my leg and have only been offered intensive radiotherapy or palliative care....I choice for a second opinion and am now just started my first does of immunotherapy trial in Marsden hospital London..it's is a long way from. Us but you will try anything....it has given me side effects but I did also already suffer alot of pain ...but we have to stay strong and fight tho it show it who's boss ....you are a inspiration and I wish u all the luck in the world hun...I wanted to start doing blogs or videos to show the progress.. good luck sweetie xx
Lucy Wilson oh Lucy! What a story!! Well done for going to London, never giving up!! You have your 3 kids to keep you going! Absolutely start blogging and making videos! No better time than the present! I’ll watch 😁
You are a huge inspiration to me I am starting my chemo in 2 weeks. I watched your story about diagnosis and I'm so sorry you went though that. I was lucky in Canada there is no minimum age. Thank you for posting these videos. You are helping me through your journey. I love your attitude! Your accent is awesome and you are beautiful!! Muah 😘
Aww thank you for being such a sweetheart when you’re going through all this craziness x I hope treatment goes well for you and you have ZERO side effects x 🤞
What a cute little boy! 😂🥰 Thankyou for sharing information about your cancer experience! Those treatments are brutal. Iam so old and concerned about getting through the treatments. Iam 64 yrs old, newly diagnosed with breast cancer. Iam overwhelmed with all the crap they do to a person, my goodness! Ive only had one treatment so far 😂 what a long way to go! You seem to be doing great with yours! 🥰😍❤️👍
I am fighting with cancer now I start chemotherapy next week and though would be surprised to know you have relaxed my anxiety. I just want to Thank you. Awww he so cute
Great to see you pretty lady! I'm so glad the taxol isn't as bad as the others, you look great and you have the cutest little one 😊! Great to hear you were able to do potty training! Your doing so amazing and you are so inspiring!! As always my thoughts and love are with you and your family!!
Thank you 😊, I'm going to be reevaluated in late April and also being checked for cervical cancer due to something they found in my blood work. But I'm staying positive! If i can be half as strong as you i will be fine! 💞
Great to know, this coming up Friday is my first Taxol I am halfway there ...but so nervous about reactions. I have been working all through chemo so I am happy and looking forward to Taxol.
Tdot G h Hi thank you for asking. I finished chemo about three months ago, I finished radiation almost a month ago. I was told I am in remission from stage 3 breast cancer. I am watching what I eat and trying to get stronger.
Your little boy is gorgeous like his mama! I hope you are doing well. I just found your videos yesterday and have been watching one after another as often as I can!
Dee Doherty, I have followed your entire journey since I was diagnosed in 2019. It’s now September 2021. I am wondering how you are doing today. Praying you continue to thrive.
I only had side effects like Nausea, cold sweats, just sweating in general, fever, tired and low energy with AC and only the first two infusions. The third infusion I had no side effects and only a blood transfusion and. I have one more AC then 12 weeks of taxol. Hoping taxol I start to grow hair and be normal again and also gain weight.
So glad the new taxol is being easier on you outside of the joint pain!! That fatigue is just incredible hu? Its not something you can even really explain. I did some searching and discovered the chemicals in the chemo actually block up the sodium ion channels where energy pass's from one cell to another. So the fatigue is caused by that energy not being able to easily move around the body the way it naturally would. And really that is kind of what it feels like in that your just so heavy and like an elephant is actually sitting on you. Worse yet you have to take steroids and while I heard for some people it gave them back their energy, for me it was more like I was being sat on by that invisible elephant, but I was wired with chaotic energy that kept me from sleeping and just feeling shaky/jittery all the time. ... but unable to get up and do anything. Blahhh, awful stuff.
Ophiuchus Oversoul wow that’s really interesting... thankfully I’m only on the steroids now before and during chemo - but you are totally right! You feel exhausted, so tired .. but you are wired!! Not for too much longer now though, thankfully 😅
thank goodness for that, I am so excited to see you doing so well. My kids were little during NHL treatment so I know how hard it is when it comes to them. And mine did the same thing you described for a while. They just kind of didnt seem to be to concerned. I suspect its quite the opposite but they dont know how to deal with the change of mom being everywhere to mom always being laid down somewhere in the house. So glad your baby has decided to snuggle and cuddle you though, it helps.
So glad you feel better this time most be horrible feeling sick and tired. I've had cough 3 weeks can't get rid of it lots virus flying round. Your son is beautiful.
Hi Dee, thank you so much for your videos, they have been so helpful as I go through my cancer journey. I pray that you will continue to stay healthy and well. Thank you again and much blessings to you and your family.
Hi thanks for sharing! Your son is so adorable! Ok I’m starting taxol next week for 12 weeks. I know I will lose my hair when do you think I should shave my head?
I’m taking Taxol now . Very tired a little nausea , some neuropathy in fingers and toes . A little blurry vision. So far so I’m ok .. Praying things go well 🙏🏽
My mom is off red devil too but now on taxol but its weekly and i am still a lil afraid ? Is it going to be bad? Like every week at first she had it after every three weeks
In my experience it’s not as bad at all.. also weekly means the dose she gets it’s less. Side effects are bone pain and aches mainly (in my experience) but definitely much more human than before x
@@amels716 okay so mama got done with her taxol Okay she will experience pain in her breast why? Coz tumor is shrinking so that causes pain plus there are alot of pains called phantom pains that are totally psychological ... taxol causes less nausea but its really a tough kind of chemo ..try to give her food with calories but no added sugar okay ..and nothing too cold or too hot. ..ask me anything if u want too ill help yoy
If it hurts when she moves her arm or so ..could be muscular so u have to get that checked but if its constant is prolly that still get in touch with your oncologist
Did you ever get the genetic testing back? To avoid having the total mastectomy? I might have missed it in a video but I did do a marathon day of watching after finding your channel. I am going to keep you and your family in my prayers sweet lady.
Tara Clerkin if it’s just taxol... maybe. But it depends on the job. I wasn’t allowed to work because I worked with children and our immune system is so low on chemo. And it’s individual to each person. I found taxol easier but I had a friend in the hospital and the taxol made her so sick she eventually just stopped it.
Tara: I was fine on A/C but had a hard time with Taxol. I never had nausea on A/C but couldn't keep food down at first with Taxol. I have 3 more Taxol treatments and can't wait to be done. Had neuropathy in hand and pain in legs.
Marilinaa oh that’s great!! That will be super if the sickness stays mild throughout (or disappears!) I hope you’re taking care of yourself - don’t do too much, rest when you need to! :) ❤️❤️
Going through treatment right now, with a 5 months old baby and a 6 years old daughter. Very encouraging video. Thank you for sharing ❤️

Hi Lexi! I didn't actually get the test done - I'm still on the waiting list! So it's a single mastectomy for the moment x
Hi dee, do you think it's possible to have a full time job while on taxol?
