I'm not really the greatest piano player, and I can't seem to get my left hand moving at a different pattern to my right, and I want to improve on that, so is there any tips or exercises I could use??
Exercises on hand independence / finger independence and finger agility drills can improve on this.

I feel ya pain, It's so annoying when my fingers accidentally do the same thing as the opposing.
Darknight 307 that was hard for me too but I soon figured out how deal with it and now I'm learning this with out the trouble! you just have to practice slow, at least that worked for me👍!
Darknight 307 honestly practice is best thing you can do. Eventually you'll get it you just have to keep trying

It's a really good tutorial, but my fingers of my left hand can't play the ritme of part 1.
yeah it is hard but you do get used to it, it just takes practise.
I recorded it until i could get the hang of it so when i played the eight side i could still sound good
