I wish they didn't redo the voice acting, the original games voice acting is classic and Iconic, and is in no need of being remastered. All the replacement voice actors they used in WOW and HOTS are not as good.

I'm not saying that I'm not happy, that with all the resources they manage to change some low res models and textures, and sell the game again to us (possibly in three part + DLCs).
But shouldn't they work on the Warcraft 4? I do not care of WoW Lore, can we just have a Warcraft lore and continue the RTS?
@@lordgarithos7332 I do not see any problem with that. It is like saying that mods for Morrowind, do not work for Skyrim. Yea, it is true, but you know the game will change, new story, new campaign, maybe just maybe ... I know it is far to hope ... but there is a chance that some people will make custom maps for it too. :)

What I'm especially looking forward to is the updated world editor.
I really, really, really hope they'll retain the focus on ease of use where placing a unit is as simple as clicking the ground, modifying and creating new units as easy as tinkering with their easily understood files with clearly labeled hit points and the like, and not go the Starcraft II route of a powerful but complicated editor.

Only if it retcons entirely from WoW and continues the story where Warcraft III: TFT ended....that in fact is the only way Warcraft IV could co-exist with World of Warcraft.

I remember playing this and only playing frozen throne and not understanding what i was supposed to do and just kept killing my men and only played minigames and the Narudota mode and TFclassic
Arthas looks badass at the end! Are they using the SC 2 engine for update? I like how they call it reforged haha. Price? Will it be cheaper for people who own the originals? Also, I was just thinking it would be badass if they created some sort of castles that you can storm!
They didnt do that for Starcraft when it got the remaster. Dont think theyd do it for this game sadly.
nope, this remaster is actually running on heavily modified Warcraft III engine....even the system requirements are almost exactly the same as they were back in 2002 for the original game. As for the price its 30 bucks and ofc includes Frozen Throne and the (improved) map editor.

Lets hope that Blizzard really considers that....but ONLY if they would retcon the storyline entirely from WoW and have Warcraft IV to continue where The Frozen Throne ended and thus place Warcraft IV in entirely alternative timeline/universe than WoW.

So vanilla WoW looked like the original Warcraft 3 but zoomed in, now Warcraft 3 Reforged looks like the new WoW but zoomed out...nice evolution. lol!
