Oh my gosh that's one beautiful piece of wood. I could watch you working with this kind of wood all day long. I grew up in the redwoods of California and love what we call brough wood. It the weird growth that makes beautiful tables. This going to be a wonderful piece of art work to add it will be great for so many different uses.
.. beautiful...i certainly appreciate y'all's aesthetic..and vision and confidence in what you both like can't wait to see it all put together ☮️&🌱's -tracee (LeRoy's wife)
Me, I would have used that extra piece as a secondary shelf under the main desktop. Looking great though. I miss the days when my disabilities didn't hamper or stop me from making my house my home.
That is a magnificent piece of live wood…a table like that would cost you £999.99 in UK … it would make a fabulous dining table in the future… oiling it shows the grain off beautifully…❤ the room does look very nice guys… you have worked very hard and pulled it all together…👏👏👏👏
You mean hand held belt sander. A 4" X 24" sandpaper belt would be a good size for the type of work you do. 80, 100 & 120 grit should cover just about all conditions. Good Christmas present! ✅ 🎅
It’s a beautiful piece of wood ! I love the live edge ❤. Perhaps it’s the camera angle… but it looks rather large for the sun room ?? It would be a good size for a dining room table inside near the kitchen …?? I will wait to see how you use it - I’m sure it will be awesome 😎 ❤❤❤
It is beautyful ❤ And I love when show the small cute blobbers too, it makes us smile and laugh with you 😂 Keep up the good work 😊 Greetings from Denmark
I look forward to seeing your next video. This is such a beautiful piece. I cannot wait to see it complete. In regards, to you putting it where you are - brilliant - loads of light, you have views out the windows. I think it's a perfect use of the space :)
Beautiful! A new office? Is it a desk for your computer? I mean, there are several power outlets, so it could be... But I'm not 100% sure as it may not be practical to sit next to the main entrance. Whenever someone comes or leaves, all the cold air would go in and right onto the person sitting... Also, in summer, all the windows will make the room a little greenhouse, so I do have my doubts about an office. Maybe the desk is for plants, but again - why so big and why so many power outlets? Oh, I actually have one more guess - is it for the cut out machine? Are you going to create some products there? I can't wait for the big reveal, guys!
@@danapertile106 the door in this little extension is actually only one way door like a window can only be opened from inside, it's more of a window than a door and won't be used in winter at all. 😊❣️

8:25 🌻 I didn't realize you already have a staircase to the second floor. Generally, it is in a good location, but you could make it so much better. Move the staircase so the entry addition and hallway flow better and there is less wasted space. The hallways are very wide wasting many square feet. Typically, hallways are 4 ft wide, something to consider when you estimate how many square feet of space you could repurpose to better use. The way you use the house gives you options. For instance, you often speak of needing closet space You could line the outside wall of the hall that has no windows with closets. Closets would be very useful just inside your airlock entry. And enclosed closets are great insulation for outside walls. It would also be wonderful to add a double glass door that opens into the entryway. open in the summer, closed in the winter. This project would be a good opportunity to try your hands at planning the final product in advance of starting the project. If you did this project, you could then move on to finish the Juliet balcony room of the tower and the front door airlock entry. Individually, these would all be serious accomplishments. Together, they would be amazing. Something to think about 😊
I could see your new table making a nice dining table in the main house, close to your kitchen.
It is a beautiful piece of wood. I absolutely love the shape of it.
WoodPrix is nice for that.

Great job with the top! I’m so glad you didn’t remove the live edge. It’s looking so good so far!
I like the plants on your window sills. I hope the sills will be good for starting seedlings in the spring 😊

I think a handheld band sander will be a good addition to your workshop. More consistent sanding, and quicker with low grits first.

It's gorgeous and really useful use of the space.
I think it would be perfect there, you get the view sitting at the table, you can use it as a desk and as bar/buffet table. Such a nice slab of wood❤
Beautiful!
What a gorgeous table!!!! Maybe drill some holes along the back where the table will be for the computer cords to hide them a bit????
