    Case closed on Teddy, his application for Aussie statehood is in his own name, despite being wanted for the escape of Frank Mitchell, a spell in Broadmoor and a record as long as your arm. Who do these doubters believe could keep that from the Aussie authorities exept MI5.?

    • @mikekemp9877
      @mikekemp9877 Месяц назад

      very true .alan cooper the mysterious yank who supplied the firm with guns that never worked was definately a mi5 and cia plant . the twins realised he was a wrong un when late on he was wired up in hospital and when they visited tried to get them to incriminate themselves he then vanished .however incredibly he got ronnie a visa for the usa . he went to new york with him.the idea was for him to meet top mafioso to discuss gambling jaunts to london. in the event he only met third rate villains and retired mobsters so probably the mob sussed cooper.if you go back to the boothby libel case its clear the intelligence services protected the krays at this point why i dont know .boothby got 40000 quid for a story that was true ! maybe they feared the krays had too much on the establishment .teddy was the link man between the vips and the twins so it made sense for him to vanish.they did a similar job of protecting john bindon due to his royal connection a few years later .in the police its recorded what an uphill struggle nipper read had to convict them .instead of being praised and promoted he was told his career in the met was over .he was shunted off to be dcs of enfield cid and told no further promotion was possible .nipper left the met became an acc in the counties and then took a paper pushing job on her majesties inspector of constabulary .the top brass he said made it clear that nicking the twins was not what they wanted ! a top cop sidelined for doing his job.

    Teddy being MI5 fills in many blanks--early trials collapse as much because of him as the still at large firm. Teddy was probably answering to John Du Rose, pulled by MI5 who were determined to stop a 2nd Profumo, though the Boothby scandal would have been far bigger.
    MI5 must have known about the Mitchell murder and escape before Leonard Read himself did. Not required at their trial as he was culpable on the Mitchell escape.
    Frankie Fraser and Buller Ward come out looking good as they both claim to have met with Teddy in 1972.Though Read himself seems to have only been given half the story by MI5, only they could get Ronnie a passport for New York. I doubt Teddy was Oxbridge recruited CIA but turned i e blackmailed by them later, his departure ushered in the mysterious Alan Cooper who likewise disappeared.
    Also explained is how the Twins got in at the Cambridge rooms whose style and ethos were not theirs but Teddy Smith was installed as manager, the sudden recantation of the female owner collapsing yet another trial now appears logical.

  • @truthbeckons6053
    @truthbeckons6053 3 года назад +7

    Just a thought: It's possible the people Teddy Smith attacked were Mi5 agents to put up an image to the twins which would explain why the cases were always dropped.

    I'll never understand how Nipper Read didn't know that Teddy did a runner to Australia he said they investigated and questioned so many but no sign of Smitty, Nipper was convinced the twins killed him, And Smith came back to the UK and died in 2004 or 06. He obviously knew it was imminent that the firm were all getting lifted for murder, So he packed his bags and off down under he fled. You gotta give him credit having gone on his toes and presumed dead, when he returned he still would have been wanted for the Mitchell murder.

    • @Richie2015
