NCLEX Vlog! Take the NCLEX with me and watch me get my results!

Hi all! First, please excuse all of the spelling mistakes in this video I was rushing to edit it and put it on RUclips. I decided to vlog my journey to PA to take the NCLEX and the wait for my results. I couldn't find any testing centers that were available until nearly November other than in PA in part due to COVID and limited seating, so thats why I had to travel so far.
My mom came with me and was an amazing supporter through it all. Our trip turned into an extended road trip and we ended up having a really good time. Tbh its the most either of us have done/ seen since the start of quarantine back in March.

Is there any way you can clarify the Pearson trick? Also what do you think is the best medium to review for the exam? Thank you for recording this process!❤️

Of course! The way the "trick" works is you wait a couple of hours after taking your NCLEX, then log into your pearson vue account and try to sign up/ pay for another test. If the you get a notification that says you are not able to sign up for another test chances are that you passed! If your card gets charged and you are able to sign up for another test, this might mean you need to retake the exam.

In terms of studying I think UWORLD was the thing that prepared me the most. UWORLD prepares you by letting you take practice tests that are very similar to the NCLEX (seriously...the NCLEX looked just like the UWORLD layout). I would take at least a couple of tests a day, and then spend time reading my notes over the areas that I didn't do so well in. UWORLD also gives you a predictor exam that tells you how likely you are to pass the test. I waited till about 4 days before my exam to take it because you only get one try (although there might be the option to purchase another one).
