I got what I needed from the video so thank you. However, reading out examples, rather than writing them, may not prove to be the best path for these kinds of videos.
Can anyone help me how to solve this question please! Madison has a choice of two entrees (soup or salad), three main courses (fish, chicken, or steak), and three desserts (ice-cream, lemon tart or cheese). Suppose Madison has the choice to omit the entree and/or the dessert course altogether. Find the probability that: (i) She chooses soup, fish and lemon tart (Answer = 1/36) (ii) she chooses all three courses (Answer = 1/4) (iii) she chooses only two courses (Answer = 1/2) (iv) she has only the main course. (Answer = 1/4)
Wrong. umm there are three different dice possibilities for getting a sum of 6 though. 3 +3, 5+1, or 1+5. You only accounted for one of the one plus five problems. But you can roll a 1 on the first dice and a 5 on the second OR a 5 on the first die and a 1 on the second.
You’re awesome! I have had trouble learning and differentiating the two because of an extended sickness and you taught it so well!!! Fucking A man you’re the best
