- Iso Grifo was always a very rare Italian sportscar. There were only 413 cars built in total. And unlike the racier Bizzarrini sibling, not many have been duplicated. Personally I think it is one of the coolest Grand Touring cars built in this period.
Exterior: The Iso Grifo for sale here was painted around 20 years ago and still looks very nice today. The brand new Borrani wheels make a great contrast to the burgundy colour. Chrome details are in excellent condition and the underneath of this Iso Grifo looks as good as the top.
Interior: The Iso Grifo has a very nice interior in beige leather. All of the original Veglia Borletti instruments in perfect working order. Air condition to keep you cool on those hot summer days.
Iso Grifo, Maserati Ghibli or Ferrari Daytona?
Engine: The Iso Grifo Corvette 327 engine had a complete overhaul and a few small upgrades. One of these upgrades is a fuel injection system. The fuel injection can only be seen by the trained eye since it is incorporated with the original carburettor. And, it can easily be removed is you prefer to have the car more as when it came from the factory. However, it does increase the performance and still reduces fuel consumption. Another upgrade is the Tremec five-speed gearbox. The five-speed gearbox is perfect for today’s driving conditions. Gives you a great acceleration and still lets you cruise along on the highway at a comfortable rpm.
History: This Grifo 350 GL was in the USA for some time and there it had an extensive restoration. All the original receipts are collected in a folder. This 1967 Iso Grifo for sale was imported from France. And, it was registered in Sweden 2006-10-25. It has been with the same owner since. The car comes with invoices of the work that was done here in Sweden and copies of Technical Control.
PLease people...we like to admire these exquisite brutes without the tacky muzak overlay....it's all about the car!
D'accordo al 100 x 100
Magnificent car, excellent video! Congratulations.
Many thanx
Forget the running gear, chassis, power train, suspension, brakes, electrics etc etc, and just marvel at the bodywork.
I first saw one in the 1960s in London when they were launched, and I immediately got a stiffy. I believe at the time of launch, it was the fastest car on the market at 160mph. But I don't care if it had a top of 60mph and 0-60 in 15 seconds, I still want (but can't afford) Giorgetto Giugiaro finest creation. It's a work of art.
Leider wohl wird bald die Bundesabgasbespaßungsverbotsverordnung und Transporttourismusemissionsbeschränkungsbundesverordnung die Abgasbespaßung verbieten und die Transporttourismusemission einzuschränken!
@@Schlipperschlopper Will they?
@@Rog5446 lets pray they wont!
64 years is a long time to maintain a stiffy, but I can understand why. Likewise for me is the convertible.
Beautiful and beautiful music in the background. So sad this company went out of business as they designed some amazing cars.
Bertone designed the cars. Giugiaro. Iso built them. Yes, sad.
@@classix0707658904 Unfortunately yes. All of them gone. Current cars look like soap boxes with stupid electric drives and no character. Bertone, Frua and Michelotti had a lot of hand in BMWs, Alfas and Monteverdis of 60s and 70s. Thanks for posting such a nice video.
This and the Islero Lambo are my favorite GTs from the 60s. Man what beuty.
Thanx
What a beautiful car!!!
Well, that's the sound of an american Chevrolet Corvette V8 engine 327ci.
And this perticular Corvette V8 has a faster response than most Ferraris from that time period.
Awesome 👍❤🔥
It is a truly wonderful but we want to hear the car. The music is to load. There is nothing in terms of information about the car. I have seen several close up and one racing. Fantastic. But more car noise and details including longer shots on engine and interior.
Mamma mia che bella,❤😊
Before warching please no silly music!
what is so amazing about sounds of an obsolete pollution machine? low performance truck engine
Good point there
@@classix0707658904 it is a pretty car though
