Nice! This is my most favourite crossing in Southampton with the loud alarms. I see the crossing is still having a little bit of trouble detecting the train as the crossing turned off as the train was still crossing. At least it didn't time out completely like last time to be fair.

UK Level Crossings Yes it does seem to have a problem with detecting the train. You should come film here!

Since I have a 2 month summer, I'll see if I can't travel down to Southampton either by car of train. It'll be great to see the crossings here. Is there a schedule for the freights in and out of the docks that use Canute Road and Chapel Road crossings?

+UK Level Crossings Yes; on real time trains, the timing point I use is Southampton Dock Gates

Great video! What alarms are here? A Yodalarm and an E2S alarm? Also, seeing how the gates always rise when the last car is still on the crossing, I wonder if the detection equipment for the crossing part of the crossing has failed.

They should at least shout off the alarms when all the barriers are fully lowered!
Didn't this crossing not have barriers?
Nice catch of another 50-car long train, pulled by one locomotive!

MrBnsftrain This crossing did not have barriers, you are correct! How many cars can 1 locomotive pull in America?

Most trains in America are pulled by more than one locomotive, but sometimes, one engine can pull around 80 cars!
