Pulling off elections in a massive country like India is not an easy task, and the way India and election commission handles it is nothing short of miraculous, with moving EVMs and personnel all over the nation, registering each voter and polling each vote.
But, the way we actually vote and declare winners, a method known as First Past The Post, has some serious flaws that can undermine the whole effort.
This video goes into details of First Past the Post, discusses its issues in detail, and then lists and explains some alternative voting methods like instant runoff (The way president of India is elected btw), Mixed Member Proportional etc.

Secondly, elections in India are a massive undertaking with enormous logistics and management required, and ECI does a really amazing job of managing them.

Election data of India and Indian states is available on election commission’s website and wikipedia.
Other countries data and system of elections are also taken from Wikipedia.
Some other minor sources, if used, would be visible on screen.

Whats your opinion on electoral system in Israel?
Party list proportional is fine for smaller states like Israel, but a vast country like India needs local representation in my opinion. So whatever happens or not happens in the future, I feel constituencies must exist in India. Especially when MLAs of states like Himachal, UP, Uttarakhand etc get annual 'Vidhayak Nidhi' to spend on local projects, which makes their existence more important. It is a different matter if that fund is expended or not.
