Sari Schorr, a wonderful singer who gives a lot to her audience. A repertoire and compositions very varied, and what a mesmerizing voice. Respect also to its musicians to whom it gives a lot of place. If you have the opportunity, go see her on stage and I'm sure that like me you will return often 💛
To be honest, Sari is the biggest surprise of this year. I am a concert goer. I bought a ticket to see Walter Trout. Sari and her band was an opening act. I didn't even pay attention to the fact, I never heard about her, not even bothered to check what is all about. What a surprise. Seen her live, hearing her voice is a mind blowing experience. Go for it, if you have the chance; you won't regret it. Ah, and buy her first album
Seeing Sari on the Walter Trout tour a few years back was an awe inspiring treat. Innes Sibun on guitar was the icing on the cake. Saw two great bands that night, and all for a ticket price of £25. Bargain or what ??
Caught her live at Arlington Arts Centre out in the middle of nowhere north of Newbury in what seems to be carrot crunching territory. The Arts Centre is a smallish private compound which seemed weirdly out of place in the itinerary of a European tour. How wrong can you be. It's a great very personal venue, not big but big enough, you really feel a part of the gig rather than just a spectator and she capitalised on that and blew the place apart! Great to now see her in the lineup for Weyfest this year. Hope it's taking off for her, she sure has the talent and the commitment to become very big. She could make up for missing the hugely popular Deborah Bonham now she has moved out of the Weyfest sphere.
