Never throw away your old jeans. I’m sharing a great idea for thrifty housewives

Where to put old things? Many people write that they should be given to those in need. But do they want to wear cast-offs? Recently, a friend of mine took her things to church. He says they took me to a special room, and there was a whole mountain of things on the floor. This means that they are not needed that way.
The same goes for giving things to an orphanage. I don’t think the children there are undressed, and I don’t dare give them anything worn. Why doesn’t the one who gives away old clothes want to wear it, but children have to wear it to the end? Anyone who wants to help should better buy new clothes.
If the old clothes are clean, ironed and in good condition, then this option is suitable.
Therefore, it is better to alter old clothes or use them for handicrafts. Anything that doesn’t fit well is suitable for creativity, since nowadays no one wears clothes to the point of holes and the fabric remains durable and suitable for alterations.
If you have a few unwanted pants, they make a great rug. Jeans and men's trousers on which the crease has been ironed are suitable. For one rug there are 4 trousers or more.
How to sew:
First I cut off the trouser legs.
Then I cut them at the seams, removing all the thickening.
I smoothed out the resulting pieces. I marked stripes on them, 9 cm wide.
I folded each strip along the middle and ironed it. I turned the edges inward and stitched. I will weave a rug from these strips.
I stitched stripes onto the ribbon, decide for yourself how to arrange the colors, as well as the quantity.
Then comes the weaving. The strips must be positioned straight away and pulled up all the time.
As a result, the sides should be equal, if it is a square shape, if it is rectangular, then the opposite sides should be equal. All distortions are easy to correct.
I fastened the ends of all the strips with needles, then stitched them.
The edges can be trimmed with ribbon or fringe can be sewn on.
Thus, unnecessary trousers became necessary again.
But now it’s not clothing, but a home decor item.

В Таком стиле можно было бы сделать сумку шопер.
Только складывать вдвое,а пристроить на подкладку.
Мне кажется, полезнее будет.
