Thank you from the wonderful TCEC coverage! Did you know there is currently a bonus tournament between the top 3 with extra long time control? The VVLTC bonus, 360'+60" in stead of the 120'+12" from the super final. Stockfish already scored a very nice win against Leela, but the counter game still had to be played.
I will check it out for sure. I am following now a little bit more the Computer rapid chess championship 2023 on chess.com. I found a brilliant game that I will publish soon.
Thanks Jozarov, Leela needs to be re-programmed. Look at 10:07 - it has tripled pawns on the f file with an un-castled King. That is what costs it a win after most the pieces are swapped off. It needs to play lines that don't leave it in such a losing position.
Great job covering the tournament! Enjoyed all your vids so much!!! :D And also your other vids. Thank you :) I think the most interesting about this Tournement is that both AI's ar better at some openings. This also shows that there potential slowly comes to an end with this Hardware. Stockfish for example needs a way better optimized neural network. After that it prob can only be subtle still improved. Till better hardware arives like Ecram chips from IBM. Bądź najlepszym reporterem szachowym, king kongiem szachów :D pozdrawiam! :D
@@Jozarovschesschannel Yes Leela was really close! What I loved was that Leela showed the shortcomings of the Fish. Was there anything typical at the openings where Leela did better? Where they open, semi open or closed openings? Can you tell there something, as you are way more at home with chess then me :) if you got time to tell that short, big thanks!
@@Jozarovschesschannel Thank you very much! So that means closed games are more complex, and then Ai neural network plays a bigger role prob. So for closed games we should study Leela, and for open games the Fish. Thank you very much!! ^__^/
great video as always, could you please cover a few scandinavian openings from tcec if they hd any, i thinkj its one of the most popular openings at club level and i love playing it myself as its so much fun. thanks again
When will they allow these engines to play the starts of these games? Leela was starting out in an impossible opening. Until these engines can begin the first moves, im not really caring about the games to much. They do play great chess. Let them start as a real player does.
Jozarov thumbnail images are just so cool! Also analysis are great as always. Amazing work!
Thanks for the good words.
Wow,i can't belive this...Ive just ordered some books on the taimarnov today be here tomorrow...Yes!
Taimanov is harmless...if white knows the right lines!
Finding shelter out alone in the middle was fantastic. Thanks Josip.
A real shocker

Hell of a job, Jozo, my friend.

I wish they did a championship with chess960 since forcing them to play bad openings does not seems fair.
There is also a chess960 competition. Stockfish is a monster there.
@@Jozarovschesschannel Can you give me some link since I can not find it on internet ?

go to ccrl.chessdom.com/ccrl/404FRC/ first
Why? Leela will win hands down
thank you!
Most welcome.

I think Leela is good in closed games. Stockfish is a monster in OPEN battles
