Awesome project. Quick question, why use filler or fiberglass if you filled the holes with metal by welding? I am not a body man so this is a genuine question.
Great question, after welding and grinding your repair, a thin layer of body filler covers or fills any imperfections in the metal.. Sand it down to make the panel perfect before paint.
