This is a really beautiful tribute to the life of Karen Carpenter. 💛🌹💛🌹💛🌹 I so love this song,' Yesterday Once More" too 🌹🌹🌹🌹. And when I saw her coffin I just wanted to cry😢😢🖤🖤🌹🌹🌹. And I never heard the echo at the end of this song before, but it's like her spirit🕊️ and her soul🕊️ still lives on💛💛💛💛💛. I love the fact that they put a star🌟 for her to remember her beautiful voice🌟, her talent on the drums🌟, and the beautiful person that she was 🌟🌟🌟🌟.. She is in heaven now and singing with the angels🙏🙏👼👼💛🌹💛🌹💛🌹💛🕊️🕊️!!!!
An absolute joy to listen to.clear as a bell with perfect pitch. The closest voice to pure perfection this world could ask for. Karen, please know that you are loved and dearly missed. You were an angel on earth.R.I.P Dear Karen.
Thanks so much for the tribute to Karen. The best voice to listen to ever! My favorite here is the year by year makes me happy but wanting to cry.Wow the best part of this video is the echo! CHILL BUMPS!! Love the last pics! She was such a pretty kiddie.Miss you Karen.
Very sad that she destroyed her health ( which led to her death ). She was beautiful before the eating disorder took a greater hold on her . With that truly incredibly beautiful voice one would imagine that that alone would save her and she would overcome this problem because she was so admired for her rare gift . But l'm dreaming of what could have been. Karen was lost . And that voice in all its beauty haunts us to this day. Her ghost in all these recordings is so very very deeply welcome.
Some parts of Karen and Richard’s career are out of order and some performances are dated incorrectly. In correct order it would be: March 2, 1970: “Ticket to Ride” in Squaw Valley for Something Else September 15, 1970: “(They Long to Be) Close to You” from The Don Knotts Show August 10, 1971: “(A Place to) Hideaway” August 31, 1971: “Bless the Beasts and Children” February 1972: “Hurting Each Other” at A&M Studios in Los Angeles, California December 1974: “Please Mr. Postman” at Disneyland in Pasadena, California March 1975: “Only Yesterday at Huntington Gardens April 1976: “There’s a Kind of Hush (All over the World)” from a concert in Osaka Japan May 2, 1977: “All You Get from Love Is A Love Song May 17, 1978: “Little Girl Blue” and “Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft (The Recognized Anthem of World Contact Day) from Space Encounters May 16, 1980: “From this Moment on” from Music, Music, Music June 1981: “Touch Me When We’re Dancing”, “Those Good Old Dreams”, and “Beechwood 4-5789” filmed on Charlie Chaplin Soundstage at A&M Studios 1981: Anorexia interview
