    It seems the nicest guys are best at playing the nastiest characters. Thank goodness for Thomas F Wilson.

    A very wonderful and fun interview. With Johnny as a host. It's gotta be funny.

    Loved the back to the future movies but it was too bad that Crispen Glover doesn't show up for the other 2 films

    • @bratton79
      @bratton79 4 года назад +7

      That’s an interesting story. Crispin felt he should get paid substantially more money to appear in the sequel. The producers refused to give him what he wanted so Crispin passed on the sequel. Additionally, the producers went to extraordinary lengths to make the actor who replaced him look just like Crispin Glover. The resemblance was so uncanny that people actually thought Crispin was in the movie, so he ended up suing the producers for using his likeness without his permission.

      @@bratton79 It wasn't about the money; he's been on several radio talk shows stating he was excluded from the sequels because he objected to the ending of part 1 where Marty gets "rewarded" with the truck he coveted. He felt that the movie sent a message of greed and that success is measured by material wealth, which he strongly disagreed with. And the producers disagrees with HIM! Guess who "won" that argument.

      For the 50s segment of Part II they used some pre-existing footage of Glover without his permission and *that's* what he used over.

    Tom Wilson has a different demeanor with Carson versus how he was with Letterman.

    This can't be from 1989 since the last two movies were not released until 1990. The 3rd was still being shot in early 1990.

      Most likely May or June 1990.
