That’s an interesting story. Crispin felt he should get paid substantially more money to appear in the sequel. The producers refused to give him what he wanted so Crispin passed on the sequel. Additionally, the producers went to extraordinary lengths to make the actor who replaced him look just like Crispin Glover. The resemblance was so uncanny that people actually thought Crispin was in the movie, so he ended up suing the producers for using his likeness without his permission.
@@bratton79 It wasn't about the money; he's been on several radio talk shows stating he was excluded from the sequels because he objected to the ending of part 1 where Marty gets "rewarded" with the truck he coveted. He felt that the movie sent a message of greed and that success is measured by material wealth, which he strongly disagreed with. And the producers disagrees with HIM! Guess who "won" that argument.
Back to the Future 3 finished shooting in January 1990. This episode of the Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson aired Jul 19, 1990, it's Episode #28.294 of Season #28
He seems like a really nice guy. Grateful for success.
A great personality. Great actor and great guy. Who doesn't know who Biff is?
That Biff. What a character.
It seems the nicest guys are best at playing the nastiest characters. Thank goodness for Thomas F Wilson.
A very wonderful and fun interview. With Johnny as a host. It's gotta be funny.
Loved the back to the future movies but it was too bad that Crispen Glover doesn't show up for the other 2 films

Stephanie Blasenak Aren’t they clauses in the Screen Actors Guide now since that?
For the 50s segment of Part II they used some pre-existing footage of Glover without his permission and *that's* what he used over.
Tom Wilson has a different demeanor with Carson versus how he was with Letterman.
@Brian Allen Do you really think Letterman was all that "controlled"?
Tom Williams not only a REALLY funny guy, but great musician as well, SUPER nice guy !! NOT your standard hollywood SMACK !
That's about as funny as a screen door on a battleship!
Biff Tannen: bully and a jerk
Thomas F.Wilson:a good person and a great actor

This can't be from 1989 since the last two movies were not released until 1990. The 3rd was still being shot in early 1990.
Most likely May or June 1990.

This was his second appearance with Johnny, by the way, the first being an episode in November 1989.
Bit of Tom cruise and Jim carry
Loved it when they got all silly gay near the end. Couldn't do that these days. Time is amazing.
We live now in far-left communist America. It's like hell. Time to move out
@@stevemuzak8526 Actually, far left and far right. Everyone is on the wierd edge.
Johnny Carson in 1989???
Haha he is completely opposite of Biff
He should have been in hundreds of movies. Hollywood f'ed up. Probably as nice as Tom Hanks.
He was very funny, but, very uncomfortably nervous.
I mean, it IS Johnny Carson after all.
Guess Ed got kicked off the couch?
Must've been told to "make like a tree and get out of here"...
I hate manure!! 😂😂😂😂
He so hyper.
Thanks for everything Chris! Here’s a little something for fun: ruclips.net/video/Y7ggw365lYI/видео.html
