Nice video cheers, looked a bit windy on the chimney. Love the simplicity of your frame work and efficiency of the pre cut workings most of the time, glad you leave the odd mistake in tho
Don't ever admit when you make a mistake, people might think you're less than amazing. A black cloud of doubt came over me when you looked into the camera and said you screwed up!
@@RoofRyders-wx2qi im here because i enjoy his content! Was just a suggestion as listening to wind is annoying. Music over the time lapses would be perfect
Funny second comment about this so far. Never really thought it was different. But thinking about it now it is backwards. But correct Hedge there is concrete poured later.
What better way to start the day, drinking my morning coffee and Dan going at it. Thanks m8!
My pleasure. Thanks for watching. Have a great remaining weekend.
Working alone takes a lot of practice and skill.Much respect Dan. Thanks again for the Video. Keep em coming
Boy oh boy! Thank you!

Thank you. The mistakes never stop. Keeps teaching ya.
stick framing from the top down, never seen it before, this wouldve helped me in so many situations. always learn so much from your vids!
Thank you Benn
Thanks Dan, have a great week.
You too Mark. It is a long weekend for you correct?
@@framnerdan yes Dan, kids and grandkids coming over.
New technique, reverse stick framing, top down, not bottom up. See you in the next one.
Haha. I never thought of that
I am known as the Lone Framer myself. Also on that overframe, vent it...
Go on……
I definitely have to become a better framer. Been out of the industry way too long, and I miss it dearly.
What a career. Love it.

Oh no! Sorry James but literally screwed everything up once. Failure is one of the greatest teachers. Have a good day.
@@framnerdan I understand now. You fancy yourself as being a framing magician, like the famous Canadian magician "The Amazingly Randi".
Next time you do a time lapse can you put something over the top so we don’t have to listen to wind howling through the phone, thank you!
I think it's feels perfect. You don't want to hear the nail gun? Why are you here

I get it. It is irritating. Worse working in it though. Take care
Top down suspended framing - first time seeing that. Impressive!
What is top down suspended framing?
Most likely a poured patio underneath to support it.
@@hedge685what's suspended? It's supported by a wall from one end to th the other.
Suspended: (adjective) - “supported by attachment from above; hanging.”

One man - a whole crew
Thank you
Why are you building houses like a British shed
And then wonder why your roofs blow off in strong winds
Keeps truss supply in demand!
