It's a stupid move to frame a house by yourself...Are you really that cheap and greedy...Hire a couple REAL framers and a helper or two...It's worth it...General contractor for 35 years; I can frame a house by myself; but, it's asinine...

I have a question, when framing on such a cold day is there any distorting when the house is complete and the heat is turned on?

When plumbing a wall, if your stud is not perfectly flat you will not get a true reading. I like to use a metal straight edge that goes from the bottom plate to the top plate. I use a torpedo level against it which is essentially a long level.
