Hey Christopher! Thanks so much for doing this second run. I’m really excited to have another chance. One suggestion for drops in the future - in other industries where limited drops are common, it’s pretty typical to schedule them for 11:00 AM (EST) or later if they occur during the week. That gives everyone more or less a fair opportunity to participate. As I’m sure you’ve heard, midnight eastern time on a work night just isn’t in the cards for a lot of people on the east coast (myself included). Anyway just a thought, and thanks again for your eternal transparency and service to your loyal readers!
I know you said there won’t be any changes to the books, but will there be added stretch goals? For things like perhaps acid-free paper or ribbons for all editions? Maybe red ribbons for numbered and gold for lettered? Even a swanky bookmark perhaps? 😊 Happy for the increase!!!
@@TysonPJ it lasts better than regular paper. Less yellowing and breaking down. Know how books that are even 20 years old get yellowish and brittle? Acid free paper helps reduce this.

Do people who get the first book have priority access to the sequels? I don't even know if that is possible through the kickstart system, but it would be extremly nice for those who get one to not have to worry and have an incomplete series in the future.
We will not be doing the sequels through Kickstarter specifically because it does not have the ability to guarantee matching numbers. You absolutely are locked in for book 2. We will be either doing books 2-7 on IndieGoGo (which does allow this sort of thing) or through my own website directly.
Could you clarify how it will work with the sequels? I managed to get limited edition but I'm wondering if I were to upgrade to lettered edition with double letters, would you be able to guarantee matching set all the way through the series? And in general, can you disclose if this increase affects the sequels too or you will need to request it with every book? Also, I'm from Europe. While I've never had an expensive package lost or damaged during the shipping so far, will you have a few spares in case this happens to someone?
You absolutely will be locked in for the matching copy of the next book for as long as you want to buy them. This increase absolutely affects the sequels, so we won't have this song and dance moving forward. And we are, of course, printing extras in case of lost or damaged packages.
Whatever edition you have, we’ll match it through the rest of the series. As for shipping, I’ve shipped a lot of lettereds over seas, and they’ve all arrived safe and sound. Though I did have a guy refuse shipment of a lettered once because I stated the book’s value (as required by law) on the package.

Folks who bought book 1 have a month to collect on the sequel or lose their spot. I'm sure we'll lose a few...but I can't be sure how many. There's still a chance we'll be allowed to make more, but for now, we are--regrettably--kinda stuck.

I believe the paper is acid-free already. Steve will correct me, I'm sure.

Yes, that's right. Whoever buys a Diamond Edition copy of EOS will have first dibs on the corresponding copy of HD and so on.
