I'd recommend adding a tiny amount of black/brown ink and water to PVA to secure posters and signage as it will dull and run the designs making them seem less new and less fresh. I'd also recommend tiny scraps of brown and white paper as gathered trash for floors, lost of terrain looks dirty and dusty but lacking the garbage that really makes a place look lived in or post-lived in. A tutorial for garbage would be really welcome as I'm sure there are a wealth of ideas to be plumbed
I like your thinking- it’s all about making the terrain look like tons of people have passed through or lived there. Graffiti is something I personally like adding to buildings.
*_A tip about mini posters: Dip them or add coffee or tea to them or to the posters edges, and let them dry. This adds some weathering and also warps the posters slightly. If you take your smallest brush, you can glue them to a wall, with small brushstrokes. In miniaturized worlds something is overlooked: that these minis themselves have brushes, only they are very tiny._*
If you're going to 3D print something for a miniature focused youtube channel, especially to show it up close, MAYBE consider using a 3D printer that'll let you print decent results, like a resin printer. Maybe at least for the detailed things like the vents / mechanical side panels.
oh I am S O glad we got a closer look at the corpse models. Those were insane when they came out during the RP, and look even grosser up close!! The medical, asylum room thing is one of my favorite moments in RP on the channel so far, and getting a closer look into it all is something I was hoping for!!
These types of projects are fascinating! I'm just getting into miniature models, I got a Japanese kit of an office room that's got lights, moving parts and can be turned in to a music box!! I can't wait to get my next one! I like to alter them and make them my own!
Would love to know what site you managed to get all the street sign and poster graphics from. One thing I'm always looking for to make into water slide decals and don't have much luck finding are all the little graphics and warning letters you find on industrial equipment and things like military aircraft etc. to be able to put them on mechs and things like that. Any thoughts on where to find them would be awesome.
“But after that, I moved to make a mix of my own blood” Oh no. We might have escaped the influence of the Plague on this channel . But the Dark Gods still want some of table top time for themselves!
The room with all the mutilated bodies and blood reminded me of dead space with that green glow from the hud. They really need to make a miniatures game for that series, especially with the reboot/remake coming out soon
Would sanding the bigger pieces on the building help with the lines on the 3D print? I know some areas have details but for the wider parts would it not look a bit nicer?
Two words: WATCH REBOOT! Ok...I have more words...quit complaining about them 3D printing. What do you want them to use? Toothpaste? They've said many, many times before that you can buy pieces if you don't have access to a 3D printer.
Every time a 3D-printed piece was shown I was thinking "For the love of everything holy, PLEASE dial in your printer's settings, spend a bit of time on post-processing, or invest in a resin printer."
@@naktaal I get that they were trying to get it done but that print was so bad it was really disappointing to see it get such attention it was almost disrespectful towards the artists working on it 😕
*_Too many printer lines, it take me out of the experience. But everything is a rush, everything has to be done as fast as possible...for some reason, so it is what it is._*

You can use black tea of coffee to stain Posters too! Works good and gives natural variation because well it's natural

Nice to see a non gamesworks shop video, getting a bit burned out on killteam/40k builds so this was nice. Thank you for this.
Please Let the beard grow ever luscious and long Dave!!
Yeah, imma need that "shady ai site" for posters, like, yesterday

D&D... Proceeds to make Cyber Punk...
The scenes you all have been building have been so cool. It is amazing to see what you are able to do with some scraps of wood and cardboard.
Would love to know more about this AI generator of posters.
Impeccable music choice!
This is great! I looks like it comes together fairly quickly.
So gory and horrifying, I love it!!
Gruesome work, I love it!
OMFG I LOVE these aesthetics!
Love it, always stunning to see you work!
“But after that, I moved to make a mix of my own blood”
Oh no.
We might have escaped the influence of the Plague on this channel .
But the Dark Gods still want some of table top time for themselves!
D&D Terrain? Wouldn't this be more in the Shadowrun universe?
Pretty cool project, but I'd take another look at your FDM 3D printer settings. Those layers are...unsightly.
I saw those burrito posters lol-- looks amaazing! Seeing it all in action in RBEXE really added an extra level to the stream
So cool. Especially like that shanty town

Does anyone know where to get those dead minis?
sick vid, love your diorama projects!
of course there should be men at work signs in dystopian future Australia
Those are such cool looking terrain set pieces
go watch reboot, its a great storytelling piece!
Nicely done, my dear.
Two words: WATCH REBOOT!

This is some mad god muckery right here
For the love of Pete please tell the source for those mutilated bodies. 🔥🔥🔥
Awesome video!
Another Job well done friend, see you on your next video. :D
Awesome work! Subbed =)
Wow ive never been this early
gosh that print quality was garbage, you really gave it some life though

Excellent.
this really makes me think of Borderlands
How long did the 3D printer take.
Didn’t get a shoutout ! Damn, I have to wait until next video!!

Is that Pscoe Vale Road lol
Shadowrun Hong Kong vibes
This video is just one giant advert
Wow what a cool result! This might be my favorite video on the channel :D

You lost me the moment you said modpodge. Hand in your aussie card and gtfo
A bit 3d printer heavy 'guide' tbh. I mean it looks good of course but useless to any who don't have a 3d printer
Agreed. Sadly it feels rare this channel doesn’t use 3D printing in builds.
Communism. You use your personal skill set
