Using the mikvah now is constant. The Orthodox Jew goes to the mikvah on Holy Holidays. Young women go monthly for those that have gone through their period. People use to go to the mikvah every day.
I think yes, Simon's crucial-ness to the Decapolis was a depiction of a hard-heart being reached. Simon was so into his own pain that his heart was indeed being hardened, so I think it was found necessary for him to be broken... At least enough to cling to JESUS (Simon's arc like Mary's arc)
Question I would love to see a video on. If Jews don't believe that Messiah has come yet, why don't they continue the sacrifices?
Sacrifices were done in and the Temple and the Temple is destroyed. So until the Temple is rebuilt they don’t sacrifice.
It definitely makes sense for the Levites and anyone else doing Tabernacle type duties. But is it frowned upon for Gentiles to do it when they want to pray for something very important to them ? Does it make a difference ? I don't mean the obvious Levite priestly things. I mean like refraining from sex and maybe bathing well before praying in earnest. Our family wasn't Jewish or muslim but our father didn't eat pork. And I rarely do. Bacon once in a great while. LOL
Dr. Tom says "circumcision of the heart" is in the Torah, can you give the reference please?

it's not a technical "sin" to be unclean, but you aren't getting into heaven dirty either😅 so what's... the difference? Jesus explained that ritual impurity is a physical image of spiritual impurity. And we can know how God sees impurity from the prophet books. In a word, with censure!!!
