@@cherriluc i think they all have their on unique tones but jimin and taehyung's vocals are the most unique. they're easy to recognize immediately and compliment each other beautifully due to being on completely opposite spectrums. sweet and soulful honey voices. i'll keep hoping and praying for a vmin duet.

This was originally a solo song for Jimin, but they ended making it a unit plus feature song, I love the end result. I think Jimin fits this kinda music the best, dark, moody, music. Also the lyrics from Jimin's first verse? Those hit. It made me very emotional.

I agree I really like how the mixture of english and korean worked here. It feels balanced and makes sense that JK is the only member singing the english parts (since he has more interest in english in general). Jimin's voice and lyrics were especially piercing to me, but what else is new! She said in a tweet she met them back in 2017 and eventually she offered this track up for a collab. I think it might also be because jungkook has very good English pronunciation. Foreign language pronunciation comes more easily to some people than to others and I think jungkook must be pretty quick to pick it up because he also did the English in waste it on me and his covers
My feelings about the song is that it really feels like the opening to a video game. Like how Kingdom Hearts has Simple and Clean as a title song and they show snippets of the game before the title screen in a dreamy way and I can imagine Dream Glow as that for this game exactly. It really has the feeling of a game ost and not just a random song to go with the game.

She gave it to BTS to work with and they rewrote the lyrics to be more about positivity and growth. Charli said it's the first time she did this type of song and really liked the outcome. There will be 2 more unit songs for sure and a rumored OT7 song. V and Jhope and the RM & Yoongi. It is being distributed as a mini album. Preorders started yesterday.
The song is superior mix together so that Charlie and BTS compliment each other nicely. The transition from English to Korean is very smooth and natrual. It's a good solid pop song.

Rebecca Doak it was definitely not like their other songs. Dream Glow sounds very similar to other pop songs. It wasn’t my favorite at first, but after listening to it a couple of times, I fell in love with the high notes in the middle of the song! :))

BTS World soundtrack cd is available for pre-sale right now. You get the extra things such as a photo card just like any of their other cds. I heard there’s two more songs being released which will have namgi and vope. The actual game will be released June 26 KST and it’s free on iOS and Android. You play their manager and help guide them to success.
yeah you're right about the game being about the player being their manager, you get to sort of see them from pre-debut and I guess you're supposed to help bring them to where they are now but there's like video-calls and text messenges you get from them along the way as well, that kind of stuff.. and there is more music coming! on june 14th a song with hobi and tae, and on june 21st a song with namjoon and yoongi (then the game release on june 27th)
I also feel like this song was a better collaboration than boy with luv was, and I really like how Charli's voice was the "deepest" here. In general, I do hope for more sub-units songs from bts that aren't just vocal line or rap line, it really allows them to shine differently. I can't wait to hear what the rest of the boys have in store for us.

I think the word you’re looking for when describing their voices is dark rather than deep. They’re singing with a similar range, but the darkness (as opposed to brightness) of Charlie’s tone is what makes it sound “deep (which really means low in pitch)”

Rebecca Doak it was definitely not like their other songs. Dream Glow sounds very similar to other pop songs. It wasn’t my favorite at first, but after listening to it a couple of times, I fell in love with the high notes in the middle of the song! :))

I heard there’s two more songs being released which will have namgi and vope. The actual game will be released June 26 KST and it’s free on iOS and Android. You play their manager and help guide them to success.
yeah you're right about the game being about the player being their manager, you get to sort of see them from pre-debut and I guess you're supposed to help bring them to where they are now but there's like video-calls and text messenges you get from them along the way as well, that kind of stuff.. and there is more music coming! on june 14th a song with hobi and tae, and on june 21st a song with namjoon and yoongi (then the game release on june 27th)

I also feel like this song was a better collaboration than boy with luv was, and I really like how Charli's voice was the "deepest" here. In general, I do hope for more sub-units songs from bts that aren't just vocal line or rap line, it really allows them to shine differently. I can't wait to hear what the rest of the boys have in store for us.
There's actually an album for the entire game 😂 and Charli said in twt that she originally wrote it as a song about falling in love with someone in a club because they have that glow around them. She also said that the boys turned it into a song about following your dream 😊

There are 2 more sub-unit songs coming for the ost (with possible collaborations but we’re not sure), and they’re both gonna be Friday releases (so this coming Friday and next Friday). It’s gonna be V and J-Hope, and Namjoon and Suga.

I think the word you’re looking for when describing their voices is dark rather than deep. They’re singing with a similar range, but the darkness (as opposed to brightness) of Charlie’s tone is what makes it sound “deep (which really means low in pitch)”
