Ok I'm way late on the Beaches train but wow! This is like a dream band between the best qualities of pure power pop like Best Coast; TPOH (Canada's own); Killers; Warpaint to name a few. They are playing at the venue that I work at on Monday 3/4 in DC - I can't wait to see them pull off their sound live. Unreal vibes !
My first reply was deleted so I'll rephrase it. *The Beaches* recently got national exposure on a late night TV show. Search for *The Beaches Jimmy* and you will see it.
Listened for 15 minutes longer then I wanted. Music shows up on a play list. Played the rest of the set. Wish I could play some keys for this group they got a great sound.
First time to hear or see The Beaches was at Levi Stadium when they opened for The Rollings Stone. They did an Outstanding show! Can't wait to hear more!
The rasp in Jordan’s voice on this set is so fucking great. Not sure if she was sick or if this is something she’s got in her locker but I would love to hear it more
Great set! I just can't imagine having an opportunity to see this band up close in a small venue, and then standing there with your fucking phone in front of your face. You're there! Live! Be Present and enjoy the experience (The whole thing is on RUclips if you feel the need to 're-experience' or share with your friends. Sad for the band.
Edge of the earth might be my favorite song on the new album hands down! moves me almost to tears thinking back on all the great loves and experiences ive had. for me it has that vibe
Love seeing an all-female group rocking a 4-piece with vocal harmony like this! Wish I'd have discovered this earlier, we could've seen you at the El Club in Detroit! That would've been an epic venue, I'm sure you'll be playing bigger gigs next tour season.
@@mikechristie3183 if a all guy band where to play this music they would get nowhere. I just don’t see a ton of fans that are not girls. Bet they break up in less then a year.
Just checked in a few months late after hearing about The Beaches on CBC Radio. Great talent, energy and video/stage presence here - it's all happening! I'm a 75 year-old music nerd/guitar player and it's music like this that keeps me 'young.' I'm reminded of The Bangles and other girl bands of the '80s...this feels like a fresh take on that memorable period in pop music. Rock on girls!
I don't think The Warning should play these songs live before they are released. People get used to the live version (shot on a phone 😂) and then have that version in their head. Then are surprised or disappointed in the studio version. I have to admit I did this with both S!CK and HYCAD. But, I just listen to the studio version again and again and I love it. Great job ladies.
I can't believe that maybe I could've been at this show but I didn't get a message from KROQ that I was accepted to come and won the tickets. So maybe I didn't. I love the intimate venue.
@@andrewgrant6612 I record with my phone at my chest and I watch the show with my own eyes. I then rewatch the concert when I get home as I obviously enjoy the band if I’m going to the concert. It’s also nice to have if people ask you if you’ve been to any concerts, you can show them
Falta mucha musica a esto, yo escucho todos los generos. Pop, blues, jazz, fanatico del punk, del metal. Escucho todo clasicos... esto esta a años luz, para ser musica, q esto es?
Too bad bands can't play without backing tracks but anyway whatever I actually have seen them without a backing track and they are still great. I guess it doesn't hurt to hear piano music and stuff in the background even though obviously not one is up on stage playing that. Also no one seems to notice when both guitars are playing more of a lead part and yet you still hear the rhythm guitar playing. Oh well... nothing is totally real anymore. Even the drummer follows a electronic metrynome to keep the beat consistent.... of course you have to when you use backing tracks. Whatever.... everybody does it.
If this were live only on truth about the emotions they sing. It's worth a complaint of whom is insignificant and mistaken by insight of also reward in myself by action in like reward. Well it did it first in your part.
They have a backing track playing with them. It’s a synth keyboard playing and vocals. Booo do a real live show. No backing tracks. Drummer is also listening to a click cause she can’t keep time on her own.
@@sperhip4081 Disagree about them not having talent. If the background vocals and synths are tracks, ok. But it still doesn’t take away from the lead vocalist’s performance, plus the actual songwriting. The songs aren’t earth shattering, but it’s still not easy to come up with catchy pop songs.
@@robgrossi2368 agree. I agree. I’m missing the old times where every performance is live and no click in the ear for the drummer no backing tracks at all. Looks like there making good headway. Wish them the best.
I like one song. I think the fact that they are a all girl band will make a impact for sure. Gets them through the door easier. If it was a all guy band they wouldn’t have near the small fam they have now. Put them on tour with a band like the strokes, they get booed off stage.

So glad the Beaches are getting big! Been a fan for a few years and thought more people should hear their music!
The more their music is being pirated the more popular they will get.
Every song was a banger; but that version of Blame Brett was straight FIRE

Too true! It really pisses me off seeing this. 🤨
Love this band always a treat to find new good music
Saw them on a music cruise The Rock boat 2022 and I was hooked
Can’t wait to see them in May! They are soooo good!
We need good rock n roll back!
The Beaches are among the best. Saw them live last year. Gotta give them credit in this performance for sounding so good playing to zombies.
Whaddaya mean??! That crowd was giving them plenty o' love!
Sweet performance

She sounds warn out bless her, been gigging 24/7.
No mate she just sounds that way all the time and it’s pitchy and bad.
As Neil Young once said when told by an engineer in the studio that is voice was a little flat, "hey man, that's my style'.

someone tell that sound guy to turn the noise gate down on the vocals
Wait, who was playing keys?
Brett
In the future of use by actual lovely word.
Why are people recording on their phone knowing it is being recorded anyway? 😅 Just enjoy the moment with you own eyes.....and get off my lawn.....lol
It’s nice to have memories saved through the phone, it’s much slimmer than bringing a cam recorder😊
