I appreciate it alot that a catholic thinker does work on a protestant thinker. I didn't even knew there where christian philosophers two year ago, thought all philosophers where athiest(and im 28). I didn't even knew about Augustine. I was in a bibleclass the other day and we where reading about when the rich jew comes to Jesus and ask him what he should do and Jesus said sell all your things and follow me. The conversation was pretty basic and talked about how God would want you to spend money and if you should save or not. They did not think Jesus meant it literally (,even though we are the fundamentalists). I thought back about when Abraham freed Lot and took him back to Sodom and the king of Sodom offered him to keep all the possessions Abraham retook, but Abraham just said: ''Nah you take it, i don't need it, i got God.'' Maybe i should read some kierkegard instead of going to biblestudies, because he really thought it over. He has some wisdom that not every ordenairy Christian has. I also watched some of your other material on Kierkegard and i was very impressed by Kierkegard aswell as your explenation . Thanks for the work, i really apriciate it!
If i was a protestant philosopher i would never teach any catholic philosophers....or il just claim Thomas was a protestant in disguise or something. /joke

There's a surprising number of Protestants drawing upon, researching, and teaching Thomas Aquinas over the last several decades

Lets make a trade. You get Steven Lee Anderson and we get Thomas Aquinas.

I dont feel like anyone interested in philosophy is a true atheist, just by using the method of deduction...

Do you think go on the other end and qualify a “tragic villain” in the sense that they are suspending the ethical for the religious, but is at the harm of the community?

I just thought of Stannis Baratheon sacrificing his daughter in Game of Thrones

Hasn't God tipped His hand in letting Abraham know that he will be father of many nations? Therefore, Isaac must survive Mount Moriah.
