- In this video, I walk you through how to change out an OEM speaker for an aftermarket speaker in a 2011 Kia Sorento. This is a front 6 1/2 inch speaker.
Tools needed:
Milwaukee drill amzn.to/2GYKroR
Pioneer 6 & a half inch speaker amzn.to/2Je7Fci
Yes, you took some shortcuts. I got to see what the insides look like before attempting to pull the door apart. Thanks!
Yes. It matters how you plug the wires up. If you get it wrong the speaker will be out of phased. You have either buy or fabricate an adapter to set the speaker into so it sounds good and doesn't blow out on you...or sometimes your window will rub. Thanks for the effort
If you do end up doing this make sure you either wrap black tape where the speaker wires touch the door metal or put an insulated plastic sleeve over it. If you don't the wires are 100% going to rub on that metal and short out. Ask me how I know.👍
It is called polarity - and determines how the speakers sounds when wired correctly
from beginning to the end .... all WRONG!
It DEfinatly matter. U will loose a lot of bass. Literally fight those that wires right. U creat a wave to cancel the other.
The speaker polarity absolutely matter. Also not mounting it like shit matters a lot.
That should be titled how not to install a speaker. God help us
Thanks 👍
Hows the window work without t he riser?
shake and pan, virtually can't see anything, thank you for the efforts anyway
I lost brain cells just by watching the video……. 💀
Thanks, homie
So, if this is all wrong could someone elaborate on that. I need to replace mine. Thanks
Adapters on Amazon are like 10 bucks
Holy hell that's....so wrong
