I think that skid steer is turning out to be the best investment y'all ever made!
I've said it before and I'm sure I'll have occasion to say it again. Bryson is an absolute genius. No matter what type of job he sets his brilliant mind to he completes it admirably. I am amazed at some point in almost every show by the work that he does. I don't know how this skill translates to a job in the outside world, but I can't help but imagine that he'll go very far when he tries to get a job.
He has the best job in the world! RUclips and homesteading! I'm so jealous, amazed, happy, in-awe-of and love this big ol' family and their values!! Bryson, if I was 30 years younger...and your mom and dad would looooove me!! I'm a hard worker and laugh a lot, like you!!😄 Have an awesome week everyone!

When Bryson and Jared stick their heads over the wall at 18:27 instantly made me think of Monty Python's The Holy Grail movie, where the French soldiers argue with King Arthur over letting him in the castle, then the conversation eventually turns to disputing the air speed of an unladen swallow, then insulting King Arthur. I will leave all that content out, though I have most of it locked in my memory. Of course, you had to see the movie to understand the humor. Loving the build! Now, back to the video!
This was amazing. You all must have put up over 500 bags of sand. The structure will be a castle fortress! The facade is beautiful. Good job all!

And the wall at the top looks like they created a HOUNDSTOOTH pattern. I do love the higgledy-piggledy rock pieces at the bottom with the hexagonal stone slabs above.

The whole family has done an amazing job. It's so cool how Bryson and Garret work so well together. Between the two of them, there isn't anything they can't figure out! The ladies are doing an amazing and wonderful job on the hexy's. Very creative and fun. Love the doggos.
Do y'all ever worry that one of the walls might fall over if you go too high?
No :) Dad has spent a long time pre-planning to be sure the wall will stay right where we put it. The thickness of the bags, shape of the curve, etc. Rains will be one we'll have to race. Once it's sealed in & the roof is on she'll probably outlive us all. The gap between then will be interesting. Really so with monsoons around the corner. We have some ideas but we'll let you know! :)

And also, on one of Tiny Shiny Homes videos that talked about with the hyperadobe you need buttresses for walls over 10 feet but you aren't weaving any in, so I'm curious what the difference is between what you are doing and what they said?
@@d.s.3551exactly!! There is a rule for needing buttresses after so many feet up on eathbag walls!

Hey guys. I've been watching yall since like 2014(Not sure i didnt like write it down in my diary). Back when the kids were still kids. Anyway i didnt ever comment because well I didnt want to.
Well in 2018 my wife and I bought a piece of land and built our home. We live 100% off grid. A lot of thanks to you guys. We have our own style. But seeing your family do it made me know we could do it.
Now with the price of homes and even property. We couldnt even think of doing it. So thank y'all so much. I have no idea where we would be today. If it werent for your videos. I dont think you guys could ever know how much you changed our lives for the better. I dont really get on the internet much. We prefer to live without it. But we came to town to get some internet just to say thank you.
You will never know how much youre positivity can effect the world.
Edit: i remembered it was the rocket mass heater video. I watched it when it first came out. I wondered how it didnt have more views. That was 10 years ago. So since 2013 you guys have been a positive influence in my life. 10 years. Thank you.

Wow, lots of progress on the workshop walls. It was great you got the window header tilted back into alignment! Gary was amazing maneuvering the skid steer into those tight spaces to lift the bunch of bags to the top of the wall. I like that you decided to start bringing the bags inside and using the scaffolding to help. Even better when you put forks on the skid steer and brought bags up on the pallets. Great that we got introduced to Mom's new dog Zoomie. I love her little pool. Thanks for showing how you fixed the design flaw with the starter motor of the skid steer Bryson. I loved the clip you showed of Bryson replaced the starter switch on an ATV with a light switch! Thanks for this great video Clark family!

Cup holder is a must! I remember my grandfather never got on his tractor/lawn mower without his coffee. And he was ahead of his time making a pot a night before to place in the fidge. Ice cold coffee prefect in the heat of Oklahoma.
