For your leather top you could try changing McCall’s 8138 into a top and adding those sleeves. Thanks for sharing as always!

Love your ideas and your video! Since you’ve made the shacket, I wonder if you could help me with something. I’m going to make a shacket for my son and I’m using a flannel fabric that has Sherpa on the backside. Do you know if I need to use regular flannel for the facing or the same fabric as the shacket? And I guess also do you think that fabric will work okay for that shacket pattern? Obviously it would be the view that the male is wearing on the front of the pattern:) Appreciate your help and I always enjoy watching your videos and getting ideas!

Hello, the shacket I completed was made out of a brushed cotton and I used a cotton voile for the facing.
The black and white one I shared in this video, is an anti peel fleece and I chose a basic quilters cotton for the facing. If the flannel has Sherpa on the wrong side, I would choose a lighter weight fabric for your facing so a cotton. Or acetate lining.
