- Today we are upgrading the 3rd brake light to an LED assembly on my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500, the process is the same if you are simply replacing one of the bulbs however. This is a VERY easy task to complete and you can save A LOT of money by doing it yourself.

Easy money right there. I bought a mini pry bar to pry off the light housing. I don't think it's ever come off in 15 years

I have 403 phillips screwdrivers give or take a few so I'm going to go ahead and do the same kinda deal you did there on my Ram and call it justified tool collection! Lol

Heck yeah! I think a lot is dependant on truck color. I think of all the tricks I've owned this Ram has been my least favorite lol...but I do like the color!
Question do you not have a problem with the cargo light staying lit when truck is off

I got these brake lights and sadly only the cargo lights work. Anyone have any clue on how to get the 3rd brake light to work? I have a 2005 dodge ram 1500
Hopefully somebody can help you out! Or maybe get ahold of the manufacturer...if they'd be any help at all
Some dush literally put caulk around my 3rd break light. Guess he was getting water in it. When he could just replace it for about $30 bucks

i purchased a AXIAL 3rd brake like from American Truck and it came with a foam gasket and i wan to know if you could put a small bead of 3m 08693 windshield adessive seal along with that gasket

@@antoniodavis9848 I haven't had a gasket leak on any of my vehicles as of yet and all I've used is the supplied gaskets
