WoW!..... That's the turntable my parents got in the '70's when I was a teenager, along with an SX-450 receiver. Man that was a great system, and prepped me properly for still being an audiophool til this day. Great to see one running again.
I'm working on the exact same problem right now..... Also, the owner seems to have left it in a barn for 20+ years so all the grease is dirty and sticky. He wants it done for under $100 bucks too!😂 I can't say if this video was helpful, but it sure was a great way to commiserate. Kidding though, nice job.
I record these videos several months before releasing them so it's been a LONG time. I usually pick them up off of eBay - I only use a handful of sellers that I trust to provide parts that are close to OEM specs.

Haha...lately my bench has been full of crazy-maker repairs. I've been so overwhelmed that recording has taken a back-seat while I get through them.
