    WoW!..... That's the turntable my parents got in the '70's when I was a teenager, along with an SX-450 receiver. Man that was a great system, and prepped me properly for still being an audiophool til this day. Great to see one running again.

      Thanks! This PL-117D gave me fits...didn't want to get sorted out at all. It went to a good home a few weeks back :)

    I'm working on the exact same problem right now.....
    Also, the owner seems to have left it in a barn for 20+ years so all the grease is dirty and sticky.
    He wants it done for under $100 bucks too!😂
    I can't say if this video was helpful, but it sure was a great way to commiserate.
    Kidding though, nice job.

      Haha...lately my bench has been full of crazy-maker repairs. I've been so overwhelmed that recording has taken a back-seat while I get through them.

    What kind of belt do you use? Looks huge......

      I record these videos several months before releasing them so it's been a LONG time. I usually pick them up off of eBay - I only use a handful of sellers that I trust to provide parts that are close to OEM specs.
