Haha, I did that walk a week and a half ago - we must be headed in opposite directions as I am now down in San Salvador. I had a great day in San Ignacio (stayed at the Drift Inn in Santa Elena) and enjoyed a couple of good restaurants there - cool vibe just before Christmas.
Nice to see this area, where I was two years ago! I lived 3 weeks in Santa Familia and traveled through Belize 6 weeks. Very friendly greetings from germany and I've desire to the beautiful country Belize and their friendly people! I follow and love your videos!

Saying that Rice and Beans has some Guatemalan chicken shows that you do not look at the history behind it as that food comes from the Creole culture in Belize and using Guatemala in dishes that are known to be Belizean, to Belizean's that may or will offend us as the history between Belize and Guatemala has never been as good i advice you to look some facts and history of anything and also the dispute between Belize and Guatemala. Also the Hawkesworth Bridge is the only suspension bridge in the whole country... built in 1949.
Also the lady may be Guatemalan but like any other who have came and make Belize their home have adopted the food of cultures that were here first and its the same as when they share their food, which is an example of how diverse Belize have become throughout its history. Please don't feel like i'm mad because i like when others document my country but its the Belizean urge to help and educate you and others.
