I need help putting my presser foot back on. The presser bar will not raise high enough to allow me to

What if the foot is stuck up? Sometimes that happens but usually I can just push it down and it’ll go down. Right now it’s very very stuck all the way up. It’s not the knee lift, I’ve checked it multiple times.

This video show how to fix one ofthe most common causes of a locked machine (The video shows us fixing a Singer 20U-109). Usually thread or a broken needle gets caught in the hook assembly and locks the machine. Be very careful taking apart the hook. You can break it.
