it really makes me mad when people constantly point out "oh this isn't practical in real fighting" like yeah bro we're all aware you don't use tricks in fights, its for performance. but people always market this has completely useless in general when they are aware that spins and tricks build your dexterity and helps you maintain control over your weapon. the keyboard warriors themselves probably don't even know what their talking about lol

One thing that sucks is hitting yourself in the shine with the bo. lol Which is why I usually stick with my style's sets. Instead of doing the flashy spins.

spero non sia questa la tua tecnica di combattimento ma sono una dimostrazione della tua bravura nel maneggiare un jo.

it's a bo staff not a baton quite throwing it up in the air you are confusing me

This is good baton-spinning, but most of those swings were just for show and would not be practical for real fighting.

He should have joined majorettes. This is not Kobudo. Useless.

I partially agree with you. I think much of this was like juggling/showy or majorettes and not the most effective techniques. If you were to hit his bo with your weapon in many instances there, he would be disarmed with the bo flying. But it was not 100% useless, he has amazing control and speed and many of the techniques he did were very effective and would have had plenty of power. It was a cool demonstration. I think it is meant to be a little showy too for competition and just for fun. I bet it feels great to do many of those moves I wish I could as well. Been practicing the bo and sticks for sometime now and definitely picked up some stuff from this video.
