WELL DONE, it is very sucesful in the fact you attempted it; and this is how future people will research information and adjust to the conditions no one knew existed. Sucesful in the fact you made the correct decission and show furure people not to put themselves or or aid in danger, and to show what modification would be needed to undertake other such adventures by unskilled persons. We would be very interested to see how crossing the Pyreenes mtns ( coast to coast) by this trike, and what valuable insites could be learnt; ie how much lower gearing needed and maintance/service required if to do self surported the journey. Big thanks for your efforts to date in the development of human travel.
Honza...It was nice meeting you in Portland.. Have you thought about getting a mid-drive for those moments when you need a little boost..? :) Burley trailers make a ski/sled option to take the weight off the back tire so it won't sink in the snow. Robb PDX
No páni, klobouk dolů. 😊👍
Waw what a "trip"....Nature is Big after all...and we are small in all this....Best to you and Thanks for sharing .....Maybe it is time to make some "WintertrackingTrikes" with Lavafeets and skies .......... JørgenThomsen Denmark DK
The difficulty is sweating underneath your clothing. Different layers of clothing that dissipate moisture are paramount. The white arctic clothing soldiers wear is the only way to go.
Wonder why no ski attachments to the front tires. Still, the heavy load would of still sunk the drive wheel in. Would like to ride a fat tired trike, am new to recumbent trikes though. Azub too expensive, yet way sexy!!
+Bruno BA We share this opinion too. Honza first had planed to take normal bike. We think it'll be impossible to "walk" with it. Our trike in this terrain worked as a sled and it was more comfortable to walk with it.
Maybe it would've worked better if he pulled a sled loaded with his gear, that way the trike wouldn't sink so much. And maybe fatter tires?....or that's as fat as it goes?
Hey Honza, Thank you for sharing your hard work, it is inspirational! Your adventure reminds every human being what it means to be alive!
Thanks you.
Honza; incredible that you attempted this. Congratulations. You are a total stud!

It might help, but We didn't expect this conditions on the Baikal.

Sony Alpha. Manuální objektivy.
Very lucky guy! ;)
It was a wise decision, to abort the mission! The trike worked fine, I guess, right?

Honza класс мне понравилось, чешский понимаю и читаю , только писать не могу по этому на русском, супер и удачи во всем!!
Tough as nails wow
Fat tyres float on snow... But when you add so much luggage they don't.
That’s another fat bike on my list
I'm sorry but that's not very smart, cool video thank you
