  • I need help. My full time job has been badly affected by Covid and funds are low. Purchasing equipment is becoming a luxury and the channel is suffering. Hopefully it will monetize one of these days but until then, any donations to help keep the channel going will be gratefully accepted:

    great build, i will subscribe as you say you will be doing video builds in the future and that this is just an old kit you had photos of and cobbled together a video. i have this kit in my stash, not sure when i will get around to building it but i enjoyed your insight into this. The next kit i am going to tackle is the RB6 with the super detail kit and carbon decals from top studio and paints from Zero.
    The round spot you refer to are ejector pin marks from when they eject the plastic sprues out of the molds
    Look forward to seeing more videos, always enjoy seeing how other modelers accomplish their builds and learn from others technics

    Thank you for this. Beautiful work. I really like the cables and wiring! I definitely prefer when the modeler narrates and relays their experiences while building. This was good to know as I just purchased the RA 272 from Tamiya and I see that another user has had fitnment issues.

    As I'm about to start on a 310B, I did a Google search that turned up your RUclips video. I'm hooked on details and in awe of the way you built and detailed this model. Really beautiful work. One question. Did you find good photos of the engine compartment showing wiring? I've not been able to do so, although I'm experienced at searching the web for historical pictures of specific F1 cars. If you have a source for photos of these details I'd appreciate it if you would point or link me to it. Thank you.

      Sorry for the delay in getting back to you and thanks so much for the comment. I found very little so used some artistic licence when I put together the wiring.

    I'm building the Tamiya Honda RA 272, i had a problem with poor fitment of engine parts, i have built a lot of Tamiya kits, this is the first time i've noticed poor fitment with parts, i wonder if their quality is slipping.

    • @justyouraveragescalemodelb3152
      @justyouraveragescalemodelb3152  4 года назад

      I read once about the moulds where after a long run tolerances can start to slip so maybe from time to time we just get unlucky and buy the last kits produced before a set of moulds get trashed...
