Just bought the Ferrrari 189 Portugal grand-prix from Tamiya. i mostly buid 1/32 ww2 and modern planes. I really enjoy F1 cars and races. Thank for that video! Will help me build a better model!
Thank you for this. Beautiful work. I really like the cables and wiring! I definitely prefer when the modeler narrates and relays their experiences while building. This was good to know as I just purchased the RA 272 from Tamiya and I see that another user has had fitnment issues.
Hi ..this is amazing work. I'm finishing a Tamiya Honda RA 272 at the moment spraying and trying to detail but this is not from another planet it's from a galaxy away it's so fine and detailed.Brilliant work.Subscribed with a huge thumbs up.
great build, i will subscribe as you say you will be doing video builds in the future and that this is just an old kit you had photos of and cobbled together a video. i have this kit in my stash, not sure when i will get around to building it but i enjoyed your insight into this. The next kit i am going to tackle is the RB6 with the super detail kit and carbon decals from top studio and paints from Zero. The round spot you refer to are ejector pin marks from when they eject the plastic sprues out of the molds Look forward to seeing more videos, always enjoy seeing how other modelers accomplish their builds and learn from others technics
As I'm about to start on a 310B, I did a Google search that turned up your RUclips video. I'm hooked on details and in awe of the way you built and detailed this model. Really beautiful work. One question. Did you find good photos of the engine compartment showing wiring? I've not been able to do so, although I'm experienced at searching the web for historical pictures of specific F1 cars. If you have a source for photos of these details I'd appreciate it if you would point or link me to it. Thank you.
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you and thanks so much for the comment. I found very little so used some artistic licence when I put together the wiring.
Looks amazing! I want to add some engine detail on my next build as well, where do you get those little electrical box connectors? Oops just saw the description, top studio. Thanks and great job, subbed!
I'm building the Tamiya Honda RA 272, i had a problem with poor fitment of engine parts, i have built a lot of Tamiya kits, this is the first time i've noticed poor fitment with parts, i wonder if their quality is slipping.
I read once about the moulds where after a long run tolerances can start to slip so maybe from time to time we just get unlucky and buy the last kits produced before a set of moulds get trashed...
great build, one can totally see the effort and knowledge put into it. would you consider 1/12 scale? like this Italeri Renault RE 23 Turbo 1/12 edit: subbed
Good question! I worked out some 200 hours maybe. Hard to keep track as I was working on it for a few months with several weeks nonstop every night. Thanks for following. 👍🏻
Awesome work all around man

Nice video! Where did you get the information concerning the wiring?
I found it all over the internet over some years of research, some of which isn’t there anymore but I’ll make it all available for download soon.

Thanks for sub (sorry it took so long for my reply). I hope your following my 1/12 312T4 build!! 😉
Where did you get the shell gold kevlar intake protector from.
Yellow CF decal and weathering. 👍🏻

Dud you use solder wire for wiring?
I don't believe so, it's been a long tome since I did this one...
How did you put the decal on the air intake (in one piece or in two)?
I'll be honest, I can't remember...
Which scale did you use for the carbon decals?
1/20 scale. 👍🏻

I'm surprised...I thought Tamiya had higher standards than that?
