I have been building kits on and off for some 25+ years and only recently have I seen an improvement of my skills although I am learning all the time.
These are the brands I have a preference to using although I do not endorse any of this, just personal preference:

    That looks absolutely gorgeous! You did a great job on that. Would you say the paint is as bright/saturated as it seems on camera? I've been trying to find out what the Zero paints are truly like and that is absolutely stunning.

    As I'm about to start on a 310B, I did a Google search that turned up your RUclips video. I'm hooked on details and in awe of the way you built and detailed this model. Really beautiful work. One question. Did you find good photos of the engine compartment showing wiring? I've not been able to do so, although I'm experienced at searching the web for historical pictures of specific F1 cars. If you have a source for photos of these details I'd appreciate it if you would point or link me to it. Thank you.

    • @justyouraveragescalemodelb3152
      @justyouraveragescalemodelb3152 2 года назад

      Hi, thanks for commenting, glad you like it. I use some generic rubbish mainly, the nylon tipped tweezers are from a small electronics kit and then perhaps the ones you are referring to which are Tamiya 74048 HG STRAIGHT TWEEZERS.

    Hey! I hope your work has recovered well, and I hope to see updates to this project soon! I'm a beginner and your works are really inspiring! Also your video are really clear and shows really well te majority of the techniques. Can I ask you to get more in depth on how to made the polished aluminium effect? Do you have some online reference to suggest? Thanks a lot!

    • @justyouraveragescalemodelb3152
      @justyouraveragescalemodelb3152 2 года назад

      Thanks for your message. The polished aluminium is done with Alclad lacquer. First you prime with gloss black enamel (Alclad primer or any lacquer). Put down a good single wet coat. Then you lightly spray with Chrome. The cleaner the base coat, the better the result.
