I'm an old school bass player who was a Maiden and Rush student... Steve Harris and Getty Lee are to this day my teachers and idols. I was playing base before I even heard of Maiden/Rush. I'm 59 so I was a 70's punk era metalhead who, shamefully started with tunes like "Turning Japanese", and Lover Boy Tunes... I still remember the first time I heard "Invaders", it blew my mind. I then listened to the entire "Number of the beast" album and I never looked back... I can now play "Live after Death" note for note... Thank You Steve... You given me a lifetime of playing with thousands of people over the last 45 yrs... literally thousands of hours of enjoyment as well, not many have had that many hours of joy in their lives so I am Extremely grateful.
