so our marching band is going to Philadelphia for the Dunkin Donuts Thanksgiving Parade, and as an attempt to raise money, we threw "The Largest Car wash in Glynn County" today, and we ended up raising over $4,000!!! (we had pre sold tickets for $5. We also sold snow cones for $2 if I remember correctly. We got donated a bouncy house for little kids to jump on.) it lasted a total of 5hr 10-20min. anyway, we had a Playlist out there, and this was one of the songs

When I was 1 in 1977 I heard this song when my step dad was washing his truck at a Car Wash. He washed the truck after gassing it up for 40 cents a gallon( gas war) . Aah the memories. That ol' car wash is gone now and so are the days of tie dyed shirts,bell bottom pants and the puka shells. Lava lamp with the permanent glob in the bottom. platform shoes. Boy I'm getting old.
