After installing realtek audio driver if you cant find audio manager/sound manager then again restart your pc then check the sound manager /audio manager in lower right corner where small arrow appears..click on that small arrow then you will see orange audio icon right click and open the sound manager and even if you cant find it then go to this directory : C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA and open RAVCpl64 and do rest same as shown in video...

I can't wait to go back to work and try this. Realtec manager is already installed, so I'll try that crazy stuff of disabling the front panel. I'm having a lot of trouble with setting up a headset with an inline mic on the new computer they gave me. The worst part is that I have lots of webinars and web meetings to attend, so I now have to use the phone!
Since I couldn't get the front panel to work, I thought I'd try my Bluetooth NSP Wavesound headset. We couldn't get it to pick up the signal from the headset. After many playing around with settings later and adding a Bluetooth dongle adapter, the computer finally picked up the headset signal and told me it doesn't support Miracast. It is really frustrating. I just need at least one headset with a mic to work. Hopefully your idea works. I'll let you know. Thnx.

This made the whole situation worse..mic not working..realtek icon disappeared and even when find folder manually it doesn't open! To top I off sound from speakers now mot stable...coming in and out. wtf 😕. FUSTRATED to say the least

Hey thank you for the idea! My microphone is working now though I fixed it differently. I first open the Realtek HD Audio Manager then plug my microphone and it automatically recognized it.

It's confirmed that it's plugged in from audio devices, but the mic isn't working and the sounds of the headset is weird and low and when I press hard on the headset's jack the sound goes normal but when I release my hands I get the weird and low sound again.
I think the problem is from the jack itself.

If windows is not recognizing your headphones go to your system bios.on startup. mine was F10 on keyboard. then i searched and found INTEGRATED AUDIO and it was disabled. enable it and then SAVE CHANGES AND EXIT. do not touch anything else if you don't know what you're doing. you have few tabs in bios and it's different on other motherboards.mine is HP something. hope this helps you.

check the green baar in recording option its going high/low....and for recording voice from earphone connect your earphone to red jack the use ear buds as mic....

The reason we can't open RAVCpl64 is because of compatibility, right click RAVCpl64 > go to properties > compatibility, it only allows up to windows 8 so for windows 10 users it won't work. Trying to find a fix, if anyone can help please say

I just checked the programs installed in my pc... but Realtek audio manager isn't in it ;-;
My issue was fixed by downloading the latest Yamaha Driver for my UR22 device. So once that was installed I then went into the Control Panel > Speech Recognition > Desktop Audio and setup my microphone.

Bro i need help here. So when i went to my volume, i right click on it and i click "Recording devices" i plugged my mic in the correct spot. and when i take it out (the line for the mic) it will say "line in" "Not plugged in". But after i plugged it in, It will say "Line in" "Default Device" it jsut says that. but when i look at my mic it's still not plugged in even tho i plugged itt in at the right spot. I tried all the jack that i could put it in, But it wont help. The only person that can help me is you. So please help me!
I tried for hours without success to get my earphones to work from the front panel. Even took the computer apart to check the connections, tried all kinds of nonsense and put up with all kinds of sales pitches from companies who lied about what their 'free' program would to suck me in to the sale because what was needed was not included. Very frustrating.
Finally I found a comment under one of the worthless videos here which worked for me. It was to find the manufacturer and download the driver from them. So I searched for Asus; the maker of the motherboard and included the model of the motherboard in the search, and that gave me the link I needed to go there and download the proper software for Sound, video and game controllers for that motherboard. Downloaded, installed, restarted and the headphones worked properly. Best of luck!
to get ur audio manager back do the following:go to cmd and type "wmic baseboard get product"then get ur motherboards number for ex b250m ds3hthen go to google and copy the number and add drivergo to the first linkgo to supportand download audio driverextract it and open it and click on setup.
