His decision to call an early election has galvanised all side of the political spectrum.
But can Macron's centrist vision survive?

There's no "far-right" party in France, only Le Pen who's a moderate at best

The occupiers come to Europe without knowing the history of Europe and Europeans.
The extreme right will try to put things in order in the next 5 years, peacefully, if they cannot, perhaps a system of general mobilization and evacuation will be very likely.

"Occupiers", good one. They were brought here mainly, first of all by the elite of economy.

This is the result when Western governments prioritize the interests of wealthy elites, adopting trickle-down neoliberal economic policies that have led to the deindustrialization of North America, coupled with continuous overseas conflicts. In the United States, there was a significant call for Trump to withdraw from NATO, repatriate troops from overseas missions, and address the trade imbalance with China. Despite mainstream media reports that a majority of Americans support NATO, no formal referendum has been held. The UK and Canada face similar challenges, including housing shortages, economic stagnation, rising unemployment, the need to support impoverished migrants, and substantial deficits without the benefits afforded by currencies like the EURO and USD. In Europe, tensions initiated by leaders over Ukraine and Russia have led to a scarcity of affordable natural gas and raw materials, vital for industries in countries such as Germany. France has seen an increase in energy costs ever since losing influence over its former colonies in Africa.

On the other hand, I don't see that dope, *Thierry Mariani's* point. How did that _"French _*_history_*_ with Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, and 'Africa'"_ he mentioned come about in the first place? Did the French establish this history at the *invitation* of the nationalities of these places? Why does France refuse to stop pestering New Caledonia? His hypothetical *analogy of a French migrant* coming in without a visa and then getting "free money," health care, and "more rights than citizens" is preposterous on the face of French colonial history and a long legacy of pirating wealth from around the world. Unlike the French, who came uninvited with predatory motives, migrants come because they are fleeing hardship. French factories, hospitals, small businesses, and even soccer teams are teeming with immigrants. Would they be seen in those venues if they were getting free money or handouts? He wailed about migrants having "more rights" than "some French people." Does this mean that French citizens don't enjoy the same rights?

Do not be surprised if Australia holds the 2024 Olympic games. A RN victory will, and a NPF win may, lead to wide scale public disorder, strikes, civil disobedience etc. The IOC may have to relocate the games at short notice. Don’t be surprised if a country with a strong olympic record and with good facilities pick up the games.
