Let's Resin is actually one of my favorite companies, so I have a lot of their products. It's so good to see some of my favorite creators using their stuff.
@pattyharrison6386 it is. I used some to help create texture and add to the 'grass ' look in a piece I made with small flowers, a large flower and a butterfly on top. I really love how it came out.
That's a beautiful mold, oh my. I actually really like that sand got into the eyestalks - it makes it look a bit realistic (which is a fun contrast with the metallic colours!)
I ordered a cheaper set of gecko, frog and snail.. they were ITTY BITTY!! Let's resin molds are SO much better! The extra cost (which isn't huge) is SO worth it!!
I just found your videos, and I absolutely love them! They have helped me so much with my own resin crafts! They have given me confidence in myself and in my pieces that I make! Thank you so much!! ❤❤
Steve your so VERY RIGHT!!!!❤❤❤😂 I tried JDiction deep pour resin and LOVED IT!!! 🎉😂❤ Absolutely NO BUBBLES!!!!😮 I couldn't believe it! I didn't have to wait after mixing or spray it with alcohol! My jar castings were perfectly CLEAR!!! ❤😂🎉 Cured beautiful 😻 !! Thank you and JDiction for the best epoxy resin that I've ever used!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I've watched a few others using this mold and they've had those eye stalks break off by taking the head out first. So be careful! It's a lovely snail you made here dear! Good job!
I really enjoy your video's and your knowledge of resin and also the videos of do's and do nots of resin, it has saved time, money and my projects. So Thank you!
I Steve I really enjoy your videos wonder if you could help me where did you get your little printing sticker machine please it looks very good many thanks Eddie
Hi can I ask if you can do the same technique with the let's resin thermochromic powder? I have a 4" alpaca mold is want to try. It holds approximately 1/4 cup water. If you suggest to mix the powders in how much should I use to make it work best? Please and thank you
Hi, love your video's, I have learned so much!!!! When I watched one of your other videos about the mica pens I too went & got myself some of the ones you are using in this video they work so good for applying mica powders!!!
Hi Steve, WOW WOW WOWWWWWWWWWW OMG absolutely stunning the colour combination is definitely right up my street I loved it thank you so much for sharing ✨❤️👍
I've been thinking about that. You know how you end up with little pieces of resin that just wasn't that pretty sitting around? Failed pendants & the like. Well I was thinking that if you an opaque one where no one can even see inside that you could probably put those pieces to use as extra filler. Another way to use less is to get Pouring Your Heart Outs druzy inserts or just make your own too.
Peaking of rocks. I was thinking about getting some small pretty white pebbles from dollar tree & then trying to dye them with alcohol ink. Like you can do with crushed glass. Thinking would work?
I actually don’t think the eye stalks look too bad with the sand that got in them. Very pretty snail and makes me think of the Snails ride in Great Yarmouth (not sure if you’ve ever been to the seafront there?).
How pretty! These would be so fun scattered all over the garden, imagine using glow in the dark pigments!
Imagine using pretty glow in the dark rocks in the shell.
Love this idea
How long was the cure time on that?
@@jamiedumoulin602 I would guess 2 to 2.5 days. Deep pour epoxy resin would work great for this mold.
Watches him pull of the seal in one easy go..."HE'S A WITCH!!!!"
Nahhh...just good at editing...lol. 😅
@@angelfromhellshawna A good editor is just a different kind of wizard, really. XD

Amazing, I feel so much better with my resin experience having your know how available
Crushed glass for crafts is also good for adding a little weight. And it gives a neat effect if you're using clear or translucent resin
Oooh now that sounds beautiful

So......... at 6:27 you pulled out the snail and broke the eyes. How did you repair that? did you use resin to bond or glue?
Oh my! I love this snail! The Chameleon powders are awesome! Thank you Steve 😊!!!
Lovely!!
Thank you, Steve! I appreciate your tutorials!
I've watched a few others using this mold and they've had those eye stalks break off by taking the head out first. So be careful! It's a lovely snail you made here dear! Good job!

Absolutely stunning!
Beautiful ❤
Love the snails. I always use a mica and get my brush down in his little antennas. Works great.
I just love that snail so pretty and the sheen from the mica stunning great video ❤
You could do a snail mold with shells in the shell part and brown/green resin for the body
I love the snail colors you used. It is beautiful. I just got this mold in and can’t wait to use it! ❤
Lovely snail.
I think the sticks are eyes 👀
Beautiful colours.. well done!❤😊
I think makeup items would be extremely helpful for tools. Very nice.

Great idea using sand for weight and making it a door stop. Looks good too.
Love the colors!!❤
Oh my gosh Steve. Snaily is sooo pretty. Those mica's are really bright. Nice video.
How do you dry something this big ? Thinking of trying resin thanks x
It's actually quite a realistic sculpture of a snail. You could do it in natural colours too, as well as the fantasy ones.
Do you use a respirator when working with epoxy resin?
Hi I love this snail mould seen so many different versions on RUclips. Can u tell me how much resin it takes to fill it please in mls?
Wow so pretty
That came out really cool! I love the colors!
Great job, what a beautiful piece! Chameleon powder is one of my favorites to use. Thanks for another great video.
This is so beautiful. ❤
What a cute snail, I've actually got 3 African land snails
Greetings from across the pond! I absolutely LOVE your work! Thanks for always sharing your experiences and wisdom with us!
I’ve been trying to give myself a reason for ordering this mold. And seeing you have it was a good enough reason for me. It was like it’s meant to be
Oh man I've already gotten the frog & lizard.
Guess I should probably get the snail too & maybe the small one too.
Okay okay you’ve got me. I’ll order it now. Lol 🫣😁
The best looking snail I have ever seen 😍😍😍😍😍.
Awesome resin snail Awesome Video steve McDonald
OK...Now I have to make some! Gorgeous work!!
Hi Steve, WOW WOW WOWWWWWWWWWW OMG absolutely stunning the colour combination is definitely right up my street I loved it thank you so much for sharing ✨❤️👍
Lovely, I put sand or pebbles in most of my large moulds so I don’t use as much resin!I say a fortune 😮😊

❤ Lovely 😍 Thank you 😊
Good video. Beautiful
I watch another RUclipsr (from Oz), who may have created this mold. She recently created a new one in three different sizes.
I actually don’t think the eye stalks look too bad with the sand that got in them. Very pretty snail and makes me think of the Snails ride in Great Yarmouth (not sure if you’ve ever been to the seafront there?).
