stylish macrame pipa knot wall hanging tutorial

The Pipa knot looks intimidating but is surprisingly easy to make and adds interest to your home decor, clothing, or other craft projects. It also represents the figure 8 infinity symbol and is meant to bring harmony to your home. All you need is some soft macrame yarn or thick soft cotton rope or paracord. I turned the Pipa Knot into a beautiful macrame wall hanging for a narrow wall in our hallway and love how it looks.

Supplies needed for Pipa Knot:
▶︎ soft 1/2-inch cotton macrame yarn/rope amzn.to/3Om3s71
▶︎ sharp scissors amzn.to/47RxLcW
▶︎ measuring tape
▶︎ comb and brush (optional)
▶︎ (also optional are hot glue gun and cardboard backing)

▶︎ screw and plastic self-drilling anchors amzn.to/49cReFM (I replaced the screw that comes with the anchor for the same diameter screw but longer. It all depends on the length of the dowel rod piece you are cutting and what wood slice thickness you are using)
