I have been doing paper beads and made a large batch. It was overwhelming to glaze 300 beads by hand. I don’t like the stringing method. So I really appreciate your idea about limiting the amount of beads to process at one time to 40-50. That is so much more manageable and pleasant to do. Thanks for your opinion
Just getting started on this paper bead journey, and was wondering what the advantage of using Diamond Glaze over Minwax Polycrylic Gloss is? Thank you for the great videos, you are a very good teacher!
Thank you for sharing your glazing expertise. You mentioned some things I hadn't thought of.
You are very welcome! I'm glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the close-up's - It's good to see how the shape changes after 3 - 4 coats :)
Glad they helped! It's surprising how much it changes. I think that one with four coats looks like a root beer lollipop! :-)

Great information! Thanks
Is it better than Mod podge?
Would this be the same for sealing a painted acrylic design on a wine glass? I'm trying to smooth out the brush strokes on the glass.
I'm not sure but give it a try!

Thank you for the kind words! If you are going to brush, I think the diamond glaze makes the bead harder than the polycrylic alone.
How durable is the glaze? Dies it scratch off easily?
No, it isvery durable. None of my beads have cracked over the years.
It is water resistant?
Yes, it is water resistant.
