Quick correction, these actually had a 6.5L Detroit diesel engine in them. The Hummer H1 Alpha was the only one that used the 6.6L Duramax out of the factory.
Detroit diesels 🤮. People think they are amazing but damn they are shit. All they do is make a wack load of noise, smoke and go no where. So nice to see when people duramax or Cummins swap a h1.
@@Ottienger but they were reliable! That’s why the military used the non turbo 6.5 to start with . Very slow and not a lot of horsepower and torque. Easy to work on !
That was nothing less than some Rembrandt-level artistry. Beautiful results. Your ability to pre-plan how to attack every centimeter of that huge Hummer is second to none. I'm really loving the enthusiasm and renewed energy of your uploads lately. Extremely satisfying and clearly masterful detailing. Just amazing.
Yo im deployed in Qatar right now. Army is the best. I've been watching your videos since I got here in November. I just order some of your products can't wait until I get home to try them out.
I just want to say I’ve watched a lot a lot of your videos and I have to say that I do enjoy watching you detail the cars but my favorite part of your videos is the songs you choose and even though you use the same songs over and over and over I love them so never change that lol I love the songs so much. Specially the very first song it’s like aahhhh ahhhh I love it. Never change that please before i go to sleep I always watch your shows just for the music because it’s so soothing!!!! Much love bro!
I enjoy watching your detailing, I learn a lot of tips for around the house in general cleaning! The one thing I’d like to know is, your iron/rust remover, I have those old heavy metal heat grates along the baseboards, (in the house), I’ve noticed the bathroom grate has rust coming through the paint, would your product work to remove it? Thanks 🙏😊 from N.C.
Where did you learn how to polish? What would you recommend for a good starter polisher to learn with? Love the videos and content, I have learned many tricks from you! Thank you!
During TV coverage of the first Gulf war, many off road guys saw how well these trucks performed in the affected areas. They started calling the Army asking, "Dude, where can I get one of those?" AM General caved to the request in 1992. Its designation is HMMWV, for High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle.
Where do you get your Shop Vac hose? I have been looking for that hose forever it seems like. We had them forever at our glass shop and now I can't find them.
I'm curious to know what is your recommendation for drill brushes the ones you use to clean carpets and such is there a Brand that you like or would recommend
Um question is it really okay to pressure wash the engine I thought it was a bad thing and you have to use a weak garden hose and also before wetting it, you brush and a vacuum the dirt. I dunno just got curious. I just happened to watch one of Chrisfix's videos about cleaning engine bays
Do you go through the clay lube really fast? I typically just use soap that I have leftover from the hand wash because I already have it there and I don't want to just whip through product when spraying the whole car with clay lube. Hope that makes sense lol
It’s not a coatings it’s just a spray sealant. If I were to use any type of ipa spray it would of just oxides back. There was absolutely no paint left on this hummer.

@@Ottienger I beg to differ. the 6.5 we own in our 94 gmc has more umph than our 04 cummins.
@@rykerf8265 you got one of lucky ones I guess lol. Most of the ones I have seen/known of, from people I know are awful.

As from what I've seen this Hummer has been extremely well taken care off. No rust and that for a 23 year old car is awesome

Good work m.a.d detailing
The polishing made such a huge difference!! All of those hours of work and usage of pads were worth it 👌🏽 Thank you for an amazing video 🥰

If you and the detail geek collab, who knows how much clean a car would look like
That paint is SHINING! NICE JOB!
Great idea of showing the products being used during the actual process!
Let’s goooo!!
Thing looked like a beast to polish with all the exterior hardware and strange angles on the bodywork.
Dude that Hummer is absolutely beautiful! I've always loved the H1 body
Nice ride MAD !!! Great job as always and I’m winning that 280ZX !!!
Can't imagine the time you spent polishing this huge brick... Always loved this truck, which is quite rare here in France.
Great video!👍
Woohoo. Entered sweepstakes!
It’s amazing how dirty those seats were!
WOW!! First, you know I LOVE watching work!!! This Hummer is gorgeous and you made it shine like the sun!! Fantastic episode! 🥰🥰
Thank you so much for the support!
Wow that looks like new!👌👍
awesome work on the transformation especially the paint work.
Another great job. Just a little surprised how basic the interior is when compared to the in your face exterior. Love that shade of red.
This thing is a beast!!! I've always wanted one! 😍
never seen such big tyres on a car :D:D

Wow and I thought my truck had a lot of paint to polish, nicely done sir 👍😁
This one looks a lot cooler than the ones I drove for 12 years in the army🤣🤣🤣
Great job as always

I would love to buy it. Even better win it😀 great video you are a master. Keep making these videos for all of us to enjoy.
Super nice hummer!! Also I have the same crocs 😂👌👍
That apc is pretty crazy. Only cleaner I've used with a similar reaction on tires is old school Wesley's whitewall before they changed the formula
My dream Car
Another great one! Always lookin good!
What kind of sprayer you use - to spray extreme APC ? it has a really good mist spray area.
I noticed on several videos he uses a 1 gallon RoundUp sprayer.

Great extractor you have there. Sure beats a Bissell spot clean "pro" if you get my drift 🤣🤣
I want to get a REAL hummer. I hated driving them when I was in the army, but now I want one. Lol.
Looking great. Banging it out! 😎👊🏻
Thank you!

I placed a order yesterday. That hummer is cool don't see alot of them. My old neighbor has a Light blue one like this
Thank you for the support!
Absolutely love your videos. Just a question do you guys extract the seatbelts as well?
Fixing to place my order to get them entries in.
Awesome! Good luck!
If I don’t win the Dotson I want ya famous pumpsprayer full with MAD APC lol
I wonder who's gonna win and if he's going to record the day with the winner? God bless the winner who ever they may be and hope you have a fun day. 🙂
wow...my dream car H1....^^...
Imagine 23 years of farts were captured in those seats and it's the first time they've been cleaned.
Sound like the guy off the fighting business
What was on those tires to make the water and APC have such a difficult time sticking to them?
What do I use to clean the inside of exhaust tips?
In video that looks easy but hummer is very big vehicle and too much details. Very hard and good job. Thank you for this video 😊
Are those 2 inch pads you used on the grill?
Those seat extractions were great. I think it was the material, you don't see that kind of material on modern cars.
May I suggest wheel and exterior kits on you website
love your vids

I just prefer to use a clay lube. Our clay lube is extremely dilatable.
Same, waste of money and time to do otherwise
Is it a Alpha H1?
No, the Alpha wasn't made until the mid 2000s.
I saw the use diesel only and with gas prices man i felt that

Is your tire/rim cleaner safe for painted rims?
Yea
I try so hard but I cannot find an Amazon link. I live in Germany and I want these products
Lovely video as always!!
Whats the song called that starts at 1:00 ? sounds realy good :)
Wonderful transformation, these are so cool, too bad diesel fuel is astronomical !
did you not prep the surface before coating?
