The Sponge? That was an old piece of upholstery sponge for cushions. The felting needle … they do come in different thicknesses. I have been using this one for a long time! I believe it would have been a medium or fine size.

Where do you find all your trim pieces
Well I love to go to the charity shops and that is a way to find old balls of yarn which is what I mostly use.
