My dad was telling me sometimes when the train goes slow enough, gangs come up to the trains and rob the people.

They have been going through this for 3 decades because they are too dumb to secure a democratic republic of their own. No balls to take their counties back from the cartels.

In a crisis, you cannot afford to care. You are allowing people to come to the USA who do not control their birth rate, and will therefore be a burden on our systems form the moment they arrive.. The average female immigrant from south of our border, will produce 7 children. The average US citizen has 2 to 3 children per couple.. Imagine a future where there simply is not enough food for everyone to survive. Who will decide who eats and who dies? If we share the food equally, then all will slowly starve. Do you want to watch your family starve to death, because you let foreigners outnumber you? That's what will happen in the USA in the next 50 -100 years, if immigration is not controlled.. Then you will think back to a time when you could have prevented this horror story that you visited on your grandchildren.. That time is now. In central and south America, there are natural controls on population growth. You cannot usurp nature without a cost. Unless you have laws that require women to have their ovaries removed after two children, the end result of immigration will be over-population and famine.

Developed countries need human capital. The more upward mobility (prosperity) a country has, the more human capital it will need at the lower social strata. Some examples:
- meat factories
- hotels / resorts
- hospital cleaning
- agriculture
- office cleaning
- elderly and child care
- landscaping workera
- construction workers
- fast food chains
- car wash workers at rental companies or privately owned car washes
- fine dining restaurants (cleaners, general help)
- etc etc...
So no matter how many doctors, attorneys, engineers and other professionals there are in a society.. without the lower social strata, those at the top have absolutely nothing. Their purchasing power is irrelevant as there is no one to do the work.

Things are changing for the better in El Salvador which used to have massive exodus of human capital. Today, it is a completely different country, in fact the most secured nation on this side of the world, with a thriving economy so less are leaving nowadays.
It will be interesting to see what will happens as folks stop migrating north and go south instead (Brazil due to BRICS, is one example) require more and more human capital.
For the time being, business as usual.

M Rez any act of resistance against any drug lord, gang, or anyone of corrupt power will get them killed. usually they disappear out of the blue but we know well that they’ve been murdered. it’s nearly impossible for Mexico to turn for the good in the state that it is currently in unless multiple people with a lot of power step in.
