1st world problems what do you expect from Poway. An extra 20 Houses is going to create traffic congestion? I’d understand if they built a 200 unit apartment complex but come on.
It's all about money. The developers are greedy and have no problem ruining a neighborhood to bring in high density housing. Find out where all those with the authority to approve this project, I bet they live no where near it.
They could easily build decent homes with at least some good size yards for people to have a garden and places for kids. This high density housing is a re- make of Cabrini Green projects that were "intended" for helping people and just trap people in tiny places. Garden apartments leave space for people to have green and a place to relax!
This is the northern, more expensive part of Poway - the southern portion is already just overrun with new condo/apartment buildings, which have already congested traffic on Poway Road, and will make a further mess of downtown when they are filled. I have no sympathy for these folks, who do not want their rich neighborhood impacted.
The entitled attitude of this people is shocking…they think 20 homes in that lot for them is a huge problem and of course they want a separate entrance for…. THE OTHERS!!

Go watch the video and listen again. Not to mention, how many of you have ever lived in Poway? Poway’s been around in a very rural area, and when it wasn’t a city, none of this would’ve been happening anyway. It’s all about revenue for the city. It has nothing to do with affluent neighborhoods or anything else to do with those people.
We need this! Many people have been migrating from Mexico in large numbers since the 1980s and we are trying to loosen up the boarder so many more are moving here.
