My dad is first generation Filipino American, and my mom is white American. Both were very quickly attracted to each other because of each others humor. I can see it here, too.
It’s kinda interesting how the Spanish ruled for 300 years but the Americans stole their hearts in 50 years. Love from a neighbour 🇮🇩
My mom is from Puerto Rico and my dad is from Mexico, and SAME. Both are hilarious.

COU is short for Curso de Orientación Universitaria (Univeristy Orientation Course), last year before uni. You would take it when 17 year old and it would go after the three years of Bachillerato (High School)
As a Korean married to an Englishman with an 18-year old son, I can’t help but feeling an instant connection even though we probably have not much else in common.
One thing though, I totally relate to your dad that he does his math in Korean because I do the same. I can never remember phone numbers in English, even though I can do everything else in English.
