- In this video we cover my favorite tools for conducting competition research in your niche for your online business.
You need to be sure that there is competition currently in the market because that means there is potential money in the market. If you find that there is no competition this usually means there is no money.
If you have an idea that is 'too unique' you will find that there is no market for the idea and you will be putting your efforts forward in a way that aren't going to deliver leads or commissions and sales.
When you find a niche with strong competition, you know that there is opportunity there. And it is important to remember that there is plenty of room for you in your niche.
Just because there is competition doesn't mean you can't also make money in the niche... It means the opposite. There is a better chance of you making money in the niche.
Generally I like to drill down in my sub niches until I find what doesn't have competition and go up one level to where I'm starting to see the competition appear in the tools used.

I just listened to Pre-suasion by Cialdini where he was asked to give a keynote speech but was admonished against using any violent words like kill the competition, destroy, crush etc.
So I am starting to see and learn that there is a lot of science but also peace and tranquility that comes with your subtle words

Ok, just watched this video AGAIN!!! I just caught the Udemy tip inside of it and that's has opened my eyes to somethings. I just started purchasing courses from there platform and I just love how you have pointed out a new possibility for me as a entrepreneur.

If i am in google trends and i see large spikes then i should increase my PPC at that time to hit the market greater? Or release more videos
I don't do much in adsense and don't think big moves in bidding are that helpful... But again, not my area. I like to find that 'marathon runner's pace' and build things for the long term.
Definitely putting out more videos and blog posts... Base them on keywords (see the last comment I posted about keyword research)
There are no courses on digital dentistry on udemy.

Looks like you found an opportunity! I don't do any partnership deals and don't do anything on Udemy... I'm a WordPress fan and believe it is important to own the racecourse. (not build on udemy's racecource)...
That said I have friends with courses on Udemy that have tens of thousands of customers.... So it can work.

Whenever I think of medical field, WebMed, Healthline, and other giant websites scare me a lot. I can write eBooks in place on article but can I crack the authority of these big sites only by creating amazingly incredible contents?

for some phrases yes… For other phrases no. Every niche has dominant websites in it already and it just takes a lot of work. Plus you can also just write books on Amazon and bypass that

Would you use google trends to create blogs ? To drive traffic
I use trends to help me guide my content creation a little bit, but I've never caught onto something that went viral... I'm more of a keyword research fan because I like to build it for the long term and the KW tool shows a snapshot of the trend over the year, but I dont spend much time in the google trends tool.

This skill has paid insane dividends for my wife and I over the years... I still research every title and description and post topic, to this day.

Do you create a new site for each topic/niche? , do you recommend blogging in general when it comes to affiliate marketing or just creating funnels with squeeze page and upsells and downsells is enough? Affiliate marketing is so inherently simple… Focus in on an audience you can help, build an email list with the giveaway, offer relevant products that are to help them solve their problems.
Ok bro i will definitely have a go at it. Yes i watched the keyword research video and it was enlightening. This passive income thing requires me to be anything but passive. it really seem like its gonna take some serious commitment.But i will start off with the minimum viable funnel and take it from there.
