Nice video … I am about to change my OEM to the one you have. Video shows me that it is possible to do by myself.
It's plug and play. By the end of installation you shouldn't have any of the 10 pigtail/harness left unplugged. If the harness isn't plugging then don't force plugging it otherwise you will bend the pins. 16:08 plug this cable into canbus the one I am holding in hand instead of the one that I have plugged in video.

Kamran thanks for posting I followed your video and everything is working except I do not get any sound out of the speakers. In the settings section I found a place where you have to enter a car code. What did you enter there or did leave whatever the default setting is. It is numeric field.
If you bought the stereo from phoenix website their code is usually 8861 or 7890.
If you bought it on Ali express then try 12345.
For the sound not coming out please check that you have properly and correctly plugged color coded auxiliary cables.
I thought these didn’t work with the models with nav. This is awesome. I don’t have time to watch the whole video but does the backup camera still work?
It works with aftermarket camera. I have uploaded a video on that as well. Toyota factory camera picture quality isn't good.

But this design of stereo is made by many different Chinese manufacturers, some are good and some are very slow and doesn’t work properly. Tesla Style Android stereos are available for many different car brands I.e Ford, GMC, Ram, Honda etc
Nice work. I have a 2003 landcruiser, will it work with that model? Everyone tells me it won't due to the climate controls being in the original head unit.
It will work because LX also has Climate control buttons in the head unit. I read on form that some LC guys were getting static noise in their speakers after upgrading to this head unit. Mine is LX I haven’t faced any problems regarding climate control or the sound quality.
LC guys buy their android head unit from Teyes website which seems to work fine with LC. I bought mine from phoenix automotive inc website.
my question is "does this tesla screen shows the fuel average (Km/ltr) and real time fuel consumtion bar as it shows in the orignal screen,
It has that option but I doubt it’s accurate. What you are going to lose after upgrading to Tesla is that you won’t have outside temperature reading, inaccurate trip computer that you are talking about and no DVD Player. For me I don’t mind losing those features. What I like about it is that it’s a giant android phone and with lots of options. Once you connect it to your cellphone hotspot then you are going to like it more.
how is your experience so far? what are pros and cons? these kind of radios usually too bright at night, does it bother you while driving? thank you
You can watch six months of ownership review here ruclips.net/video/kInblzu3Jrs/видео.html. You can change the brightness in stereo settings. It dims itself when you turn on the headlight or parking lights. You can also turn the screen completely. Pros are that it will do whatever an android tablet can do example connect to internet, play music, watch movies, surf the web, check maps, watch RUclips etc. Cons are that you will lose trip computer that shows you mpg average and you won't be able to see outside temprature and your CD changer if you have one from factory in the car won't work with this stereo.
Are you happy with the Tesla radio? Does it sound better than the stock one?
I just had some time to check the stereo and the sound quality is amazing but I had to do some software settings.

Yes it did.
What setting did you use to get the back up camera working. I have this head in it in a 2004 lx470
I installed an aftermarket reverse camera. For OEM camera to work with the android unit, you have to splice in wires and I did not want to damage factory wiring.
please can u show where to connect the fuel consumption and acceleration cable. i have a Lexus lx 470 2005 model. im not sure why im not getting those information
Sorry brother, this stereo doesn't have the option of showing outside temperature and fuel consumption. There is a stand-alone device for it that you need to plug into the OBD2 port. The name of that device is Scangauge. I have no clue what acceleration cable you are talking about!

I got the new android 13 (YT5760B_00002_V001 and the MCU is AC8259) in my Lexus it use to show fuel consumption and the outside temperature. I wanted to get those as well.
How did u get the diff lock working ? I just installed mine doesn’t work but hazards work fine
Use this cable that I am holding in hand at 16:10 instead of the one that I installed. Make sure you put the car in neutral gear to engage diff lock.

HI Kamran, so now that its been 3 months. Hows the unit so far? Everything working? especially (AC, diff lock, etc)
I have not tested AC or the differential lock but I will once I go home in a week. Other than that everything works. Steering control works, radio antenna works, heater works, rear subwoofer works. Third row heater blows cold air even with the heat knob cranked to hot. Outside temperature readings isn’t available nor does the trip computer that shows you car’s mpg.
AC and diff lock works.

It comes with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Not for sale, in future if I wanted to, I will let you know. You can find these on eBay for sale.
